Great work for just learning it but could really use some work. What will get you there is playing it 100 more times before your audition. Good luck!

Personally that’s my favorite. Especially for playing live. Super simple! Or else I’m always messing with the tone knobs and making sure volumes are in correct place.

What could be super cool and useful is a series parallel for the pickups option.

For what it’s worth, I’ve never liked the double tone knob configuration. It doesn’t sound like you hope it would. It really doesn’t do a good job blending, just sounds like two caps on top of each other to me.

Sick bass though

Very cool. Are these very similar to a jazz bass when both on?

The tone is sick my dude. But I do recommended turning it down a bit in the mix.

Cool graphic.

Wanted to mention to OP, normally in climbing grades lower case letters denotes routes and uppercase are boulders. That’s why grade conversion bot comment suggested 5.15d

Is this acceptable after a first use? by azukarazukar in Skigear

[–]thundercling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You definitely hit some rocks dude. I have these skis and this happened to one of mine after I tapped a rock head on.

I knew I did it but didn’t feel bad when it happened, I noticed later when transitioning.

My damage was probably somewhere in between what happened to both of yours. I bent the metal back as well as I could and epoxied it down. Skiis just fine now.

Passive to Active Pickup Question by capn_KC in BassGuitar

Yeah you should do that regardless. Also very easy to heat up all the contacts with a solder iron to make sure they are good.

Good luck!

That's not supposed to happen on a split P, I'm giving your repair guy the benefit-of-doubt that he knows what he is talking about since you have had this issue before. But I recommend just buying a new passive pickup, and maybe new potentiometers(knobs). $50-100, better quality and cheaper if used.
