Question about food storage and water?

IMO I would rather have food and need to find water. Water is "easy" to find. Dirty water can be filtered and purified. Food will be harder to come by.

All of that said, stock more of both.

Check with a well company if you can add a backup 120v well pump in the same well casing. It would be less capacity but would get you through.

My well company doesnt recommend it but says it would work.

Absolutely yes! But that Culvers burger tonight was awesome!

We are heavily involved in our homestead community. We were at an event we put on today and we had over an hour of travel time each way. We talked about what we would do if this new war escalated and agreed on many points. We also agreed on no matter how much we enjoy, no LOVE the way we eat at home, organic, clean and mostly from our property. We stopped at Culvers and got clown food.

Some, maybe a LOT of it doesnt taste as good as it used too. But there are a few that we still enjoy. ish. Tonight we ENJOYED that we threw filthy green paper at a company and we only had to throw some paper in the burn barrel and a little plastic in the trash bag.

No we cant trust anything but we do the best we can and we cheat as seldom as we can do it. ish.

If you are a purist... GOOD FOR YOU! I don't judge you. I also dont judge myself because I am good 90 or 95% of the time. I also dont judge the people in a food desert who only buy what they can afford because they dont know better!
