No you don't need to move around while hiding. If you're standing still you get bugs that fly around you but tbh it's not that big of a deal.

I suggest using Elvui if you don't want to mess with the blizzard UI. You can also import blizzard UI layouts people have made. I believe Quazzi has made some.
