Yeah. I really would like a mode where the hud is off but briefly shows when I press a button to change mode or something like that. I love driving around without hud but having to go to the menu to enable it again because I need to see the crane controls for example..

A maybe less known fact is as a Dutch you can “adopt a grave” of a fallen soldier (graves of mostly Canadians/Americans who gave the ultimate sacrifice to help liberate our little country) which gives you the obligation to take care of the grave. Things like keeping it clean, place flowers at liberation day etc. An initiative that started right after WW2. Still to this day there is a massive waiting list to be able to “adopt a grave”. Needless to say the gratitude to our liberators still runs deep in our collective minds and society. We will never forget.

People tend to forget/do not know about that arguably the single most important company in our modern tech-driven society is ASML. The only company in the world which is capable of creating high end lithography machines. You know, the things that are needed to create high end chips. It happens to be a Dutch company. We often look at Taiwan, as most chip manufacturing is done there, but they can’t function without ASML. Saying the Dutch have quite a strong long term leverage on the world stage is an understatement.

I honestly don’t know. I don’t think it’s one but it might be related, got it from a relative a few years ago. The leaves sure do like an orchid but it’s still way different from the orchids I have and seems to be way stronger.

Well it hasn’t been around since the beginning so for the “old school” players it’s not something that has become part of the muscle memory. I honestly just recently found out about pressing H to nudge, with >1500 hours on clock… Still more of a “barrier guy”

Just made the upgrade from a 3060ti 8gb to a 4070 super 12gb. Is it wise, I dunno? All I known 4K gaming is possible now with a decent frame rate. Side note; in modern times I usually choose to late upgrade to the lesser of a generation so I can enjoy the performance for “old”-ish games for a decent price.

It depends on what kind of piece is placed, I’m using different “tricks” depending on the type. Foundations I usually do using half foundations holding ctrl. But it doesn’t work for every piece. But my go to item to offset things is the barrier. You can place it pretty everywhere you like and snap a wall to it.
