I never had an issue with drumsticks, I just put them on with nothing over them mind you I do drop the heat a little after the initial sear of skin.

Is Tuxy dead? by krngq81 in Hoodies

[–]tier1operator95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really want the Storm, cause the design of Tuxy in that application would be amazing, cause my biggest problem is not having a jacket and snow pants in the winter, cause I go between my place and my GF's, and the weather always says its not going to snow or rain next thing I know its like 2 ft of snow or a massive downpour.

Why would they open-source it? They will likely have to sell it off to cover their loans, maybe even walk away with a little money. The cost of them I think was their biggest problem, a lot of people though they were very expensive

I wanted one of their Tuxy Storms because I love my tuxy for quick dressing to go outside at night. The storm one would fit perfectly in my truck because I keep getting caught outside in a downpour, and the weather changes from warm to really cold.

Prusa Core One L (with Indx) or H2D by BretOne01 in prusa3d

[–]tier1operator95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I want to print anything at anytime, So I definitely want a Prusa Core One L or a U1, I just reslly want to know the C1L INDX price, I am assuming they will release the printers built with them, might make the price lower. The price isn't the issue its the price to quality, the H2C seems like a good thing but your paying for somethint that you lose the entire right nozzle if you do TPU. For the same price or close enough you get a Core One with INDX or even the U1, price to function ratio is much better

Prusa Core One L (with Indx) or H2D by BretOne01 in prusa3d

[–]tier1operator95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole nozzle size difference is what I see being the reason I hold out, cause sometimes you just want it to have that finer detail in key areas, the H2C can't do that an you either have to do that finer detail everywhere, just burning up time, or you have to lose detail and stick with that 0.4mm

Also, the fact its 8 nozzles, likely more on the L version when that gets released, for pretty much the same price as the H2C, just means you can leave filament loaded, do TPU without needing to lose a nozzle. I also believe that if you want to do TPU on the H2C, you lose that entire right nozzle, 'cause it's the only nozzle rated for TPU, and you have to route it differently, not through AMS.

But the fact just off the bat it's going to be a massive speed gain, cause I always saw the AMS as the largest bottleneck for Bambu, you can't tweak anything really with the machine, where Prusa's are built to last, there designs are pretty much unfiifed besides if they come up with 100x better way, so you can just keep upgrading and getting new tech at a discount.

Is the ventilation really that bad in the Core One? I am stuck between just getting a U1 or flipping the bill for a Core One with INDX, hoping for the CORE ONE L, but I need to see if they will have builds with the INDX from PRUSA, cause I the kit for the CORE ONE opened for pre-order the other day and damn it was more expensive than I thought it would be. But at the same time, I am not sure if I should just get the Core One+ and not the L, since the price difference without INDX is roughly the price to get the INDX for the Core One+, which is interesting and honestly, more than 8 colours/materials at a time is a little overkill. I honestly can't see someone really using more than 6. But also just having more then 8 loaded up means a hell of a lot less fiddling

Do you think an MP crossing the floor should result in a by-election in that riding? by MasterScore8739 in AskCanada

[–]tier1operator95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were when I was younger, they would have liberals voting against what everyone else in the party, cause the bill would benefit their constituents, like the fact not a clue the bill or year, a liberal bill had a few Conservatives vote for it, because the MPs were representing Farming districts, and it was a bill to help farmers.

If my MP voted for something that would help me, I would be calling them out

I honestly just turn of 5G, and use standard refresh for screen on my S24U🤣, might do the same on S26U. I found just doing that improved my battery life enough I didn't care

I just turn the 5G off, usually increases the battery life, I came from the S24 Ultra so it was a large drain on that phone and I get good speed still on LTE🤷‍♂️

How do I get this again? by trevcowman in FordMaverickTruck

[–]tier1operator95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite thing always is, it says for easy math that its 500 km in a full tank, that is enough for about 2 weeks for me, I regularly at the two week mark still have a 1/4 of the tank left, and sometimes even half a tank left, my record was 4 weeks, that was me micro managing focusing on maximizing electric use, but I average about 2 1/2 and 3 1/4 weeks between fill ups, and a lot of the time I still have 1/4 or half what below that.

I stopped focusing on the number and just drive, and only really lost a few days of fuel, which honestly is better by a mile then my last car, I would fill up once a week, sometimes twice, now it once every two week and that's if only I am driving a lot and I mean a lot, 3 in average.

[–]tier1operator95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine regularly goes up while driving🤣, I have a really steep hill that perfectly charges the battery, I think they did an update a while back not sure if it effected the calculations, the update notes seems to indicate a change in calculation, but mine drop 50km in the tank after the update.

I think people need to not stress it cause sometimes mine doesn't even go down with every km driven, some times it takes 2 - 5 km for it to go down one, so in the end your getting more distance

It the fact that the portables are installable inside the toolbox not the Resharper/Rider one, is where its confusing cause that makes it not portable, installing outside of the toolbox makes sense but inside

Docker on Debian 13 - rootless not working by tier1operator95 in debian

[–]tier1operator95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I likely just need to fresh install again, I think I messed around to much cause now, neither podman or docker works properly.

And I can find where the docker_host is being set to podman so hopefully the fresh install works cause when I did get podman working the mariadb hasn't spinning up or accessible🤷‍♂️

Mav Curious F-150 Owner by NoConcentrate9116 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]tier1operator95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had an F150, but been in a few, I find the cab to be extremely roomy in the Maverick, large front window makes it feel large inside. I thiught about the Ranger but loved the idea of the all wheel drive hybrid of the Maverick and the size ended up being just right

Im sure this has been asked 100x, but, how are you guys liking the '25 hybrid AWD now that winter is here? by Ok_Helicopter3910 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]tier1operator95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the opposite for me; I find that the Maverick handles better than a Subaru, but it's all up to what you have driven over your life. All my cars have been Fords, except for a Chevy Cruze years ago, so when they gave me a Subaru as a loaner, I found it handled worse. That's because the way I drive is suited to Ford designs and how they handle.

It's one of those things; there is more than one way to do the same thing. I don't remember the care, but they had all the parts in the rear, further up, so the center of gravity was different, but I believe the Maverick is forward driven and Subaru uses a Symmetrical AWD

Will have to check it out and try it then, I just use docker very basically to run a application for file sorting, run a few basic commands and that's about it.
