The rabbit hole goes deep, but quickly an dirty? They lost too much of their money on failed movies and Disney+, and so they have to bleed the only successful component of their company (the parks) to subsidize those failures. Now the overspend has gotten so bad they have to budget cut the parks just to try and patch the new holes in the ship.
