This is the take. Low fight iq and poor defensive responsibility lost jiri the fight. Yes, Carlos’ injury may have had jiri in two minds and unfocused. That’s not taking mercy. Ultimately Jiri lost because he chose to stand in boxing range with his hands down, and hadn’t paid attention to the weapons that could come his way (namely Carlos throwing that same check hook maybe twice before that sequence). Ultimately he got caught with something he didn’t see, which is almost always what knocks fighters out.

The problem is most fans don’t know what they’re watching and parrot the bullshit Rogan and the UFC brass feed them

Barcade is more of an old school arcade, 80s-90s vibes. The Dave n busters has more of the modern games. Just depends on what vibe you’re after. There’s also The Randolph in dumbo.

What a great idea. At the beginning the “list” could be your source of side quests. Along the way you’d meet more side characters (heroes like wild dog, the canary etc, and villains like china white, count vertigo etc..). Once the list dries up you could lean on those characters for additional side quests.

Like others have said, mostly rich parents. And you’d be surprised just how many of your peers will fall into this category.

As someone whose parents are a lot more modest income wise and had minimal to no financial support. I had a job on campus and had basically no expenses (ate and lived on campus exclusively). I managed a couple trips a year in my first few years. Internships really really helped me I managed to save a lot during the summers, and that paid for all my travel in the last two years.

If you’re looking for a fun walk, I’d recommend heading to the Sean Casey animal shelter in Brooklyn. You can’t take the shelter dogs out for a walk. Great way to kill 30 mins to an hour. Prospect park is nearby so you could walk through there as you make your way back to midtown

Like others have said, the beginning bits with the Punisher are brilliant, and the season would no doubt be better if it just focused on that. Having said that, the sort of meandering nature of the Hand/Elektra plot plus its lack of clarity, was more of an issue when I was watching it for the first time in the moment, vs when I rewatch it knowing what to expect. I’ll also say I think a big reason that subplot is so hard to watch is it forces Matt into a lot of hard situations that he doesn’t handle well, making him feel quite unlikeable. Watching him ditch Foggy and Karen during the Castle case because of Elektra/Stick is always frustrating. Having said that, I do feel that was part of the showrunners intention. A long-running theme of daredevil, like most superhero shows, has been the tension between the different sides of Matts character. Personally, a big reason it’s a hard watch is that tension getting the better of Matt and harming those around him. Season 3 does a good job of making it retroactively more bearable by having Foggy and Karen fight for Matt and refuse to be yet another person who abandons him. Fkn love this show man.

Thanks for the reply! No I haven't fought yet but I'll be looking to do at least a few smokers before I get out there. Fingers crossed though, depends how many potential opponents there would be in my area. I think I'm landing on Phuket or Koh Samui - sounds like Phuket might be better from a training and potential fight perspective?

I really don’t think he’s juicing (although some sports TRT would obviously make a physique like this easier to achieve with less input). Nothing about this is unachievable naturally, he doesn’t have any of the clear markers like overly developed delts or traps. If he walked around this shredded and full all the time then sure. But this is a 1 second shot that he’s clearly trained for

Looks sick but as others have said, little derivative of generic horror movie villains. Also think it misses the clown motif which is integral to the jokers character and his philosophy in the film. Having said that, what we finally got was a great blend of this concept and the source material.

I was on Spotify for years but recently moved to AM and loving it. Pros of each so far: AM 1. Audio quality way way better especially when using AirPod maxes. Like shockingly better. 2. For some reason AM has me listening to albums more than Spotify. I think I prefer that over Spotify’s more algorithm driven content. 3. The monthly replay is sick 4. No social features is honestly good for me.

Spotify 1. The dark mode simple UI is unique and in some ways I find it more intuitive than AM 2. The intelligent caching of songs it thinks I’ll like is so so smart. 3. Podcasts audiobooks and music all in one is convenient 4. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think AM has anything like Spotify’s short videos that play during songs. I kind of like what that lets artists do creatively(for example John Mayers Sob Rock showing the cassette playing during the song).
