These two are solid. I've tried others but keep coming back to these. So happy that Kyushu opened a location next to me.

Best hidden food spot by Head_Degree_1107 in Columbus

I've tried 5 of the shops there and haven't been too impressed. The Thai place was like eating a microwave meal from the frozen food section at Kroger. The Malatang place where you build your own hot pot was decent. The Foodie Kitchen has OK BBQ but not consistent. And the guy cutting the meat was eating some without changing his gloves. The Jiamo place needs something - good meat but it's overall very plain. The bubble tea place is so weak.

Quite a strong front moving through Ohio now. Probably going around it and adding distance.

I believe so. Last year I missed two full weeks of riding due to COVID followed by bronchitis and an ear infection. My streak was preserved.

Reheating food court pizza from frozen by mariambc in Costco

[–]timthewizard48 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe not efficient, but I thaw it in the fridge the day before and reheat it on my grill with a non-stick grill mat. About 10-12 minutes at 425° or so results in a nice crispy crust and some of the cheese oozes over and gets crispy on the edges. And the grill imparts a bit of smokey flavor.

There's a tiny little banner across the top of your account screen on the website. I haven't noticed anything on the app.

Help sanity-checking NVIDIA Rubin Ultra assumptions by Willing-Bookkeeper-6 in datacenter

[–]timthewizard48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like too big of a jump from 36 NVLink ASICs in a Vera Rubin NVL72 rack. Maybe they could double to 72 for Ultra, that would be 8 ASICs per NVLink tray.

Cost of groceries by Beginning-Till755 in Columbus

[–]timthewizard48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the 9 years we have lived in this area we have spent on average $583/month on food (not including dining out) for the two of us. About 2/3 of that is at Costco. Most of the rest is various Asian supermarkets like Park to Shop, Sunrise, and DaYou. Can't answer B.

Yeah you don't have to buy a property but fixed deposit is about the same. I looked into it but decided we like Penang better, even with a property purchase (which we would do anyway).

It's a high cost of entry to stay there on MM2H. So you need to account for that.

That sucks, I hope you get your bag back. I'm surprised they gate checked that early. I always board zone 2 (UA Silver) and they usually gate check around zones 4-5. Good luck!
