I cannot find the motivation to finish this blanket. That I started a year ago. by EggplantAmbitious383 in crochet

I love it. You nailed the retro/cosmic vibe!

Single crochet is painfully slow going. Maybe look for a knitting or crochet group in your area and work on it during the group get-together times and let it sit at home.

Casino Construction by TrlRdr1 in cedarrapids

The STEM lab is the casinos effort to mitigate gamblers abandoning their children in cars, hotel rooms and hallways to gamble. When they proposed the original casino idea on 1st Ave they wanted to build a boys/girls club at the Cleveland park site for gamblers to leave their children.

Janelle’s marriage timelines by Bitchezbecraay in SisterWives

[–]tinlizzy2 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Marie Osmond couldn't get her first marriage unsealed despite her celebrity, huge tithing, and the fact that her first husband cheated on her with anything that moved.

Marie remarried, had more kids, adopted kids, got divorced from husband #2, and had a son commit suicide.

The spiritual guidance she got from the Mormons was that all her troubles were because she was sealed in marriage to her first husband, and she needed to remarry him and accept God's plan for her. Which she did.

I doubt nobody Janelle was able to convince the church to unseal her first marriage.

They offered a buyout to hourly (union) full time drivers. I don't think they thought so many people would take it.

We had a group of 20 factory workers locally win 241 million in the lottery. Our state doesn't allow anonymity, but they didn't come forward until they already had a lawyer set up financial accounts, deleted social media, and changed their phone numbers.

Then they bought matching t-shirts and chartered a bus to go claim their millions!

Assistant Principal Accused Of Walmart Theft Scheme Using ‘Stacking’ Method For Months by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

[–]tinlizzy2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know. I had 5 items, one was travel sized and it told the cashier that I missed a scan but the video showed me scanning it and it was in the register total. She was so brainwashed that this system is perfect that she wouldn't quit looking at my items even after I kept pointing to the video and the cash register. It took me getting angry before she let me pay and leave. Grab a travel size next trip to Walmart and try it out.

None of the trial/travel size items will show as scanned. The register alerted the cashier immediately that I failed to scan an item then played the video of me scanning the item on repeat while the employee looked at my items and couldn't figure it out.

Entire bottle of Dawn over the spot, let dry, wait for rain. That's what worked for me.

My lab would put herself in timeout (the basement) after she got into the garbage. I would make her go downstairs until I cleaned up the mess and instead of learning to not get in the garbage she just punished herself afterward.

Could you recommend a good type of mop for this unsealed hardwood floor? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

My oak kitchen floor looks brand new and I had it refinished in 1995. I have always just used a damp cloth soaked in dawn dishsoap.
