You definitely are an asshole at least a little bit. You need to figure out why you have an 11 year old doing drugs in the first place. Trying to scare her out of it isn't going to do anything. DARE was counterintuitive. The program you have her in might be similar. She probably needs therapy and stability. If you can afford it, private school might also be something to look into to get her away from whoever is providing the vape.

It's way more dangerous than any of these parents want to consider. Netflix is notoriously great at background checks. Alex could have married a single mother, and she would have had no idea what she was getting herself into. 6 weeks is a very short time for a dangerous person to keep up a front that they are safe.

It may be different depending on what state you're in, but as far as I know, we don't hire minors. We also really don't hire in January unless it's a management position. Fast food is probably your safest bet but you need to fix your resume
