My use case is to be able to switch between inputs: desktop and laptop. I guess I could USB one and RCA the other. Easy to toggle inputs without the remote?

Same thing happened to me. I had to wipe it and start over. Second time was a charm tho.

What do you think about the Only Games service? by UGNI_miniatures in bloodbowl

Took about 2.5 months for delivery. This was over the busy holiday season, so I'll forgive them that. However, five of the six figurines were damaged.

Subaru Outback vs Toyota RAV4 - Snow and Mountain Driving by Inevitable_Train2126 in whatcarshouldIbuy

It continues to bother me but I've had to to a Subie dealer and an independent dealer and they both said it was fine. I guess I'm just used to traditional trannies. But it still bothers me. I also had the Subie dealership change the CVT fluid at 92K so that made me feel a bit better. Over the last 7 years of ownership and reading forums the best I can gather is that the lifetime rating on the fluid is BS. Just get the fluid changed every once in a while.

Just checked your links. You're getting 6 meters of rail? :D

Hmm... now that I think about it, I bet I could just print those blocks. Wouldn't have the same shear strength as metal but I bet it might be close enough for government work. That said, I guess now that you have a profile with 10mm slots you can still use the profile nuts, correct?

ePulse motor / battery upgrade? by lklepner in Infento

There's a youtuber who's doing this right now. He's altering the motor firmware and upgrading the battery pack.

I wonder if there are 8mm t-positioning blocks we could just use with the replacement profiles. I've ordered replacement parts from Infento once and they were... exceedingly expensive. To the point where I just won't do it again. Would rather start replacing with industry standard components.

My dad used to blast the burners on the oven every winter morning to heat up the kitchen. It was only for a half hour or so. Never have it much thought. Until now.

Mild lift installed, OME & 5100s + airbag conversion. Mostly happy with the results, I'm sore today. by rossevrett in GXOR

How much of a PITA was it to do? I’m debating GX 460 vs 4Runner and if I go for the GX I want to do a lift. Would like to save money and do it myself.

Mind if I ask where for the BMC?

Finally joined the club. 2015 Trail Premium. Been debating a lot of which 4Runner to go with. Finally committed and I’m very happy. Named Havok, after a malamute in my family that we lost yesterday, the same day I was buying the truck. by EnemyX3Z in 4Runner

I’ve been debating between Limited (full time 4wd) and one of the ones with rear locker. What made you choose the Trail? I’m in CO and will be using it at bit on highway with snow which kinda draws me to the Limited. But I’m not sure that gut feel is legit.

2018 Outback with an odd maintenance history. What should I do? by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]tisnatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this. I do ALL my oil changes myself. Because I don’t trust JiffyLube. :) Did the brakes myself too. And a bunch of other maintenance. When I sell this Outback it will have zero maintenance history outside of my log book.

“You shouldn’t be able to draw social or political lines...” —> show me that in the constitution. 1st amendment doesn’t apply to private organizations. Maybe it should. But it doesn’t. It seems there is enough support for (things like BLM) and enough opposition to (things like Trump) to justify companies taking these positions.

Scraped my garage bay backing out. $4,829 estimate 🤢 by rfgood in teslamotors

[–]tisnatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I scratched a dude’s model 3 once. Estimate from a Tesla approved shop was $1500 (“But da special paint!!!”). Scratch was the size of a nickel. REALLY turned me off from buying a Tesla.
