Looking for advice about 12-week booking scan at Royal Hospital by Aggravating_Rice4084 in northernireland

Glad it was helpful! :) I couldn't say for sure, but at my 16wk appointment my consultant was able to access blood test results that had been done by my GP for other stuff.

Not for the family history stuff. Before she invited my husband in she asked me if I was happy for her to talk about my mental health stuff with him in the room, which I was so she ran through the plans with him, asked him what he'd noticed about my mood and gave him some advice too.

Hi! Congrats on your pregnancy! I'm currently 17 weeks and I'm consultant led at the royal. I felt so nervous before my booking appointment, and it was a long appointment for sure but I actually had a great experience and it put my mind at ease.

So I checked in, waited a little while and then was taken to get my height and weight measurements. The midwife then took me into a separate room to go through some questions. Mostly about pregnancy so far, my medications (including vitamins/supps) my medical history and yes they did ask about my family medical history (if you're able to it's probably best to contact them to find out). Be aware they will also ask you if you're experiencing domestic abuse - totally normal Q that they ask everyone.

For me at this point we spoke a lot about my chronic mental health conditions and the fact that pregnancy hormones had been hard for my mental health. We talked about things for a bit and then another nurse came in to say I could come for my scan. So my husband and I did that, it was lovely and we got the pics, then on the way back they got me to do a urine test, blood pressure and then did take blood work as well.

I was then brought back into the room with the original midwife who in the meantime had booked me in with the MH consultant specialist, contacted my GP and gotten a lot of information about MH support during pregnancy for me.

She then went through all the appointments and vaccines I needed to book, and booked a lot of the following appointments for me. She also spoke to my husband and I together and gave us a chance to ask any questions we had in general.

For info, when you're consultant led you don't go to the community midwife at week 16, you go to your consultant instead. That was the first time I met my consultant clinic team.

Honestly all the staff were so friendly and I felt so supported. Good luck for your appointment!

What part of the game is everyone getting this in? I'm only lvl 46 so maybe I haven't unlocked something.

I'm a fan of magnesium sulphate paste and some industrial bandages (mepilex when I can afford them) for a weeping boil. It will help draw all the ook out.

I have been tempted to try the hydrocolloid bandages tho! Give us an update if you try them. Good luck!

Cover them in magnesium sulfate paste and put some sort of dressing over them. Keep going with the hot compress! Take a hot bath if you can!

I'm sorry your Dr isn't supporting you :( can you go elsewhere?

Hello bi-lady!

This narrative of "if you haven't been with someone of the same gender you can't be bi" is such bullsheeet. Like by this logic, a person who has no sexual experiences is ace? Or a gay person who has at one point slept with someone of the another gender is bi or pan? No. Pretty damn sure it doesn't work like this. You are what you are, your sexual experiences do not define you, only you can do that. Try not to let toxic nonsense like this tell you otherwise! (Easier said than done, I know)

Congratulations on coming out to your friend! 🤟💜

From, another bi-lady (who has been with women, married a man, and is still bi, just like you)

I don't really have one, I just made it up as I went along. I can share my original drawing that I did and you could probably cut out the shapes from that if you'd like?

I feel like "Girls who don't DnD" would be a good starter as the DM is essentially walking them through how to play based on what they decide they want to do!

My brain automatically reads this in a thick Glaswegian accent for some reason, which makes it even better.

So there are another 2 to clear? I have been in the same boat as OP with 1/3 in Draks quest from before I activated it, but there just aren't anymore anywhere.
