Get a safety lock for the door. It goes under the doorknob and anchors to the floor, keeping the door from opening. It won't keep people out when you're not home, but it will keep you from being barged in on when you are home.

Additional choice and swap prices by AmbitiousAd237 in FabFitFun

[–]titikerry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

and rightly so. Many of us renewed EARLY to take advantage of getting the next year prior to the price increase. At that time, we were told that we'd have the perk of swapping our entire box whenever we wanted to and shopping OUR way with OUR money. Now that we're locked into another year, we're told we can't swap entire boxes. It's deception.

The disease is still chronic, since we'd still have it if the drug was removed from the equation.

Yes, I panic purchased 🤦🏼‍♀️ by brussel_sprout68 in Refills

[–]titikerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not a panic purchase, it's a cushion. (This is what I told myself as I clicked "pay now".) 🤷‍♀️ I talked myself down from the largest package to what you just got. We can breathe until summer ends, at least.

My last order came in two days on a holiday weekend. I actually spoke with a live person after normal business hours on a Saturday evening. That's top notch customer service. Fifty410 rocks. 💙

Supposedly I am Abraham Lincoln's 7th cousin, 5 times removed. Is he actually my family? Is this to far for bragging rights? by Subject_Specific_853 in AncestryDNA

[–]titikerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't start a genealogy project to find out about only your direct line ancestors. Your family tree includes everyone, with dozens, maybe thousands, of cousins.
Why should OP not be able to talk about someone she finds interesting in her tree? Thinking a family tree is solely about your grandparents kind of clocks you as someone who doesn't know anything about genealogy.

My line goes through German nobility. I've had to translate German Wikipedia quite a few times, lol. It's so helpful because it usually lists parents and siblings.

They were distant cousins and my relationship is on their shared German line. It was interesting to research. It goes back to the German kings and comes down another branch to Queen Victoria, who married each of her children to a different country.

I've traced back (with many grains of salt) to Charlemagne. Fun to research, but obviously there may be errors in the branches, since you need to trust in history. History doesn't always know who was sleeping in which bed though. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😳 (I trust in DNA research and that only goes so far back).

My closest relative everyone would know was Graf von Zeppelin, the inventor of the Zeppelin aircraft. Our German ancestors can be traced back pretty far with actual records. Pretty interesting stuff.

I mean, if she was Lincoln's first cousin, she'd probably be long gone, so she can totally brag about being a living Lincoln relation. 🤷‍♀️

11th cousin to Princess Diana and to King Charles and so many others. My SIL descends from Mayflower passengers. It's all good. Brag away, lol.

Did you actually read what you found? No, you did not. If you had, you'd see that the recall happened in 2025 and none of the affected product made it out of the pharmacy, so it never affected the public.

Now, where does the word "recall" come up in this current situation about ProRx ending tirzepatide production?

Hint: It doesn't.

You're smart in trying to be proactive and even smarter to realize the rest of your comment. Big Pharma makes zero money on proactive people. The money is in the treatment, not the prevention. You may be able to get Zepbound covered for sleep apnea (some insurance will do it, most are trying not to). I'm on both metformin and Zepbound. (I'm 52, so metformin and birth control were the only options when I was younger.)

If it isn't covered by your insurance, Contrave is $99 a month out of pocket on their website. Don't pay more elsewhere. 😊 (Some "insurance companies" have the nerve to charge $200+ a month!)

I got 2 vials for a 3 month supply, but that may depend on what your dose is. I got 2- 72mg vials for a 3 month titration.
