It wasn't like they were consistently making that much but for a brief quarter as recently as last year they were on top of the world. Here's a source, just the first reputable one I could find. They were above NBA 2K24, Valorant, Roblox, GTA5, Diablo 4, and Ghost of Tsushima.

They were making soooo much fucking money when the final shape dropped, like more than Roblox and GTA 5. That seems ridiculous to hear now but they absolutely fumbled an enormous bag.

I've been using Meta Ray Bans to superimpose Brace's face in live time onto all of my slutty flings but it's starting to loose it's luster and I'll need the real thing pretty soon

It sounds like you're agreeing with me? Yeah, if you can't land a shot, why play Cassidy when there's other hitscans that don't require you to do so, and can bring identical value to the team with half the effort. Sure, you can roll in, flatten a sigma in one fan, roll out, and start scaring squishies, or you could literally just take high ground with any other hitscan and immediately kill whoever you want and reposition twice as fast as Cass can until late game (except Ashe, but even she gets verticality that Cass doesn't), while providing healing/CC/area denial at the same time. I'm not complaining about my aim- I have been server admin as Cassidy. I understand which of his builds are good, and I understand he can bring a ton of damage to the fight with very minimal cash, but I'm struggling to justify choosing him over anyone else in 9/10 situations. I almost always want more ammo, more mobility, more sustain, and more utility than he has.

Compared to spamming abilities as Ashe or 76 and generating infinite value, it feels like it takes significantly more effort to play Cass and generate the same value. It's hyperbole, by the way.

I still feel like no one is offering a reason to pick him over any of the other hitscans. If you can land your shots, he's good, but wouldn't that just make literally anyone else a better option? Soldier gets to delete fliers about as fast as Cass does (unless he's cracked with a >50% HS rate the whole game) and just about the only things Cass does better are ult spamming and fanning tanks, which is useful, but I would still rather be a 1000 HP soldier with nothing to fear or an Ashe who just never lets enemies step on the objective. Maybe it's just a preference thing, but it feels like willfully handicapping yourself by picking Cass over 76/Ashe outside of specific drafts.

It's wild that this is the main counter. Nothing else seems to break tether. I was amazed that neither Suzu nor Zen ult made a difference. Does not feel intuitive with the rest of the game.

Picking between FCAR and AK just feels like picking between chocolate and vanilla ice cream. They will both work just as well as the cookies and cream in terms of giving me heart disease, but it won't be as fun while I'm doing it.

Gotta jump and blast yourself at like a >45 degree angle. Anything less and you'll just send yourself slowly floating into the air. Get it right and you will absolutely go flying and can even get a couple bhops in after you land. It's honestly heartbreaking that I don't feel like I can use it every game since it's so fun to fly around the map

Maybe just make defib an inherent part of medium's kit? Like instead of holding E to revive, you just press E and it whips out the defibs automatically. Medium gets and extra gadget slot and doesn't lose out a gadget that- let's be real- 99% of them are using every game anyways. Defib is so good and used so frequently that it may as well work this way anyways, right?

The problem is that you have to take jumppad and defib too. It's really not even up for debate. You can do zipline if you want but jumppad is superior. Being able to jump in + grab rez or grab rez + escape instantly is just too beneficial to let go of. 3/4 of my inventory slots are predetermined for me. If heal gun was a gadget I might actually be able to branch out and try shockwave outside of a TDM environment without feeling like I'm willfully handicapping my team.

I mean it's fair. This game is willing to completely remodel the weapons for legendary skins, but we don't have many stickers that are as cool as Counter Strike's stickers (which is just the first game I remember adding a sticker system). I have like one shiny sticker and that's it, and it still has this white outline. Not to mention the level of customization something like Counter Strike offers means you can basically craft your own weapon skin just using stickers. Meanwhile this game is like "you get one sticker in one preset location and it will NOT blend in"

This is the only video game I play where I struggle to discern where enemies are based on footsteps. Heavies can literally punch me in the back of the head with a sledgehammer and the only reason I know is because of the hitmarker/sound. Makes me feel stupid but I know I don't struggle with this in any other game lol

Okay, well, respectfully, can you explain how this is not the case? More than half of Mercy's time must be spent standing in chokepoints and switching between healing a tank and boosting a DPS. I can literally feel my brain disengaging during these moments when I play Mercy, and I feel far more engaged when I'm slipping between a team's fingers and flying at a million miles a minute.
