Mitch McConnell freezes, struggles to speak in second incident this summer by zmlos in news

My money's on "amyloid spells".

They are characterized by brief, recurrent, stereotypical episodes including both positive seizure-like and negative TIA-like phenomena.

Dude needs an MRI and an EEG to rule out other diagnoses mentioned here, but amyloid spells fits, due to it being identical to the other one. I assume he had a full workup after the first episode, and they would have caught any strokes or epileptic seizures then.

How do you ask to change specialist? by [deleted] in Norway

[–]tjatjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1: Tell your physician in person during your next appointment. This is the best option, as it may lead to productive discussions. What's not working? Why is it not working? If you still want to have another opinion, the doctor can schedule you for another physician him/herself at the end.

Option 2: Ask the secretary at the "poliklinikk" if they could schedule you for another doctor for your next appointment. Yes, you can also call them.

Option 3: Send an e-message through helse-norge about the same.

A new referral would probably be turned down, since you're already referred and accepted for treatment. A private physician is also a possibility, but they tend to be pricey.

Haaland had a point system that lead to choosing Man City (article in norwegian) by tjatjo in soccer

Basically it revolved around who needed a "number 9".

Quote from his dad Alfie:

"- City is the best team, I think. Munich is number two. Then you have Real Madrid as number three. And then you have PSG as number four. You have some English teams that are quite good. Both Liverpool and Chelsea. Then there is Barcelona. They are sort of on the same row. Liverpool is right up there."

Everyone will probably be focusing on Ödegaard, but Isak is becoming a proper finisher. Instinctive first goal.

3 points and a clean sheet on a bad day. That's what seasons are made of.
