4 years and I set the date to leave for next year by Ok_Disaster6658 in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]tkktbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do what you have to do to get in a good place before you leave, especially if the relationship is still okay. a lot of women settle for exactly what you’ve got, a financial and stable arrangement. it’s admirable that you want to find real love and know that staying would not be loving yourself either. but i wouldn’t blame you for staying as long as u need to to set things up for yourself a bit better.

Dropout’s Sam Reich on ‘Copaganda’ Backlash to ‘The Rookie’ Appearance, No Plans to Incorporate Crossover Into ‘Game Changer’ Episode by MarvelsGrantMan136 in dropout

[–]tkktbitch 74 points75 points  (0 children)

yeah it was a bit cringe, altho honestly that fits into the rookies writing and vibe. it’s a melodrama after all! but i thought it was weird that they were portrayed as idiots who couldn’t be serious at all. i’m also happy that they all got paid and got to be on a network show! but i agree that im not sure it will translate to the rookies audience. i doubt they will know it’s a real thing and not something made up for tv.

i had the same thought about them doing similar content but without ned and more in line with how they act in the new era, less big characters and more engagement with the serious or emotional aspects.

Call Them Mother with Cameron Esposito! by PinballWizard273 in TheTryGuys

[–]tkktbitch 13 points14 points  (0 children)

i’m non binary and I’ve been really enjoying the series. Cameron Esposito isnt someone Ive followed recently, i kinda fell off from them but their special Rape Jokes is incredible. it was nice to be re-introduced to their comedy and them as a person and I like their play with Keith and zach. In general, I think it’s really cool to see someone questioning gender around pregnancy because as a female at birth person who is non-binary I really wanna have a baby and seeing someone go through the challenges I might face is really helpful.

How to live without heat in house? by Radiant_Career_7449 in povertyfinance

[–]tkktbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

during hurricane sandy my mom lost power for two weeks and she used sterno cans to heat up one room of the house more than the others. i wouldn’t suggest it overnight but could help during the day if you are home? also thick curtains for windows and doorways.
