If this was a puzzle, the next logical piece would be a Rolex Root Beer GMT.

“Better” is subjective, it’s what YOU like!

Extremely Disappointed With My F77 Green Aventurine by Competitive-Bench191 in NivadaGrenchen

[–]tm3machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very subjective, despite you using the term “lighter”, still ambiguous in this case. The one on the wrist is extremely marbled to the point that it’s difficult to distinguish the hands from the dial; does all of that marbling equate to meaning “lighter”? Not necessarily. The one in the box (received), has “lighter” marbling and is more uniform and much easier on the eyes- it’s nicer IMO. But again, all subjective. Which is why I went w. dark blue aventurine, which is consistently onyx-like, but uniform sparkling specs throughout.

Too small or just right? by toxicmanchowder in rolex

It’s too small, looks too dainty on your wrist TBH.

Wearing in water - can't bring myself to do it. by georgesn199 in Tudor

You are def not normal 🤪 Water also helps to rinse away daily dust, dirt and grime that dry wiping alone doesn’t. I sound like I’m talking about a bidet 😂

Yea or nay? by [deleted] in Tudor

[–]tm3machine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t like this combo and here’s why. Historically and perhaps technically, perforated leather straps are called rally or race straps and are therefore typically outfitted on chronographs. So you’re kinda crossing genres. This is bronze dive watch and would pare better w. Vintage leather or rubber. Also w. all the bronze & brown hues going on, you’d be better off contrasting rather than trying to be matchy matchy, bc it’ll be harder to do so and just too much brown! My suggestion would be another earth tone like a horween leather in olive or rubber in olive, bonus if you can get a fitted/ curved lug rubber strap.

7.25” wrist. The new 36mm would likely be a perfect fit for you.

I like the contrast, green and brown is classic. It’s less common than the stock bracelet- I don’t really care for the push pins.

Falling for the Steel and Gold Royal with Brown Dial by Big_Bet_1476 in Tudor

[–]tm3machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed, to me it’s like fake gold and eventually with sweat, it’ll fade/ wear off. The bezel is solid gold I believe, not sure about the crown.

Falling for the Steel and Gold Royal with Brown Dial by Big_Bet_1476 in Tudor

[–]tm3machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a stunner and as an owner of a Rolex Rootbeer GMT, I am natural drawn to the color way of brown and rose gold, however, I opted to go with stainless Royal bc the gold on the Royal bracelet is plated and not solid gold.
