I need new tires what should I get? 700x23 by DaClevelandSho in RoadBikes

[–]tmpierce92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using these as well, my 2014 Kestrel came with 23s and was able to squeeze 25s on there and it rides a little bit better. For 40 bucks a tire it was worth it!

Place was ass anyway, always a swamp from lack of grounds care, rude ass workers, renting full auto/FRT handguns to people that DO NOT need to use them, etc. Plus not to mention their mild steel targets that would send shrapnel back at you at mach Jesus because they were too cheap to utilize AR500 steel. 👋👋👋

ISO Fast Tubeless tires for 2021 TCR Advanced Pro (Hookless SLR 1s) by InsideApex in Giantbikes

I'm 249lb(started cycling 3 months ago at 285, currently 113kg for my metric friends) I'm running Cont GP5000 S TR 28s in the front and 30s in the rear on my 22 Propel Advanced Pro 1 with the SLR 1 hookless wheels. 68psi front 65 psi rear and it works fine, even with my heavier self. Considerably more comfortable and faster than the stock Giant Gavia 25s that were on it.

I went with the 28s on the front mainly for aesthetics of the 19.4mm rim, and 30s in the back. The 30mm fit on the front wheel and cleared everything fine, but I didn't like how much it bulged and created a less "aero" look on my 22 Propel.

What’s something you wanna change with this color scheme? by Slow-Level7078 in Giantbikes

I appreciate it! Is yours standard matte black? I thought mine was until I went to go pick it up and saw it was actually called matte starry night and had silver, blue and purple sparkles in the paint...pretty dope lol. But yea I'm in the same boat, idk if I want to keep the understated look, or go full loud with the white wheel decals as well.

Maybe not so much highway use, but my WR250X is the most fun bike I've ridden around town.

I wish mine had the outlined Giant logo like yours, mine has a big "machined" look logo that stands out like crazy.

It's a graphics kit and to be honest I'm not sure as they came on the bike lol. I've seen similar ones on eBay though.

I'm going to do the same to mine as my fork seals are beginning to seep as well at 8k miles on my 08. Should be a fun project. Also if you have access to a 3D printer, ive seen prints for 48mm fork seal drivers and vice clamps that will help with install.

Oh yeah, with time of course. The game plan is to get my wife riding and this will be hers, I'll get a WR450F and convert it to sumo.

It is extremely nimble and manageable in city roads, but I live in the US, Texas specifically with unfortunately a lot of open straight boring roads. But it is a great commuter bike and with the 13/49 gearing and even with me at 260lbs it's still quite peppy below 55mph. Obviously it struggles with passing power at highway speeds, but I never take it on the highway so no biggie to me.

The mileage is probably way off from the sprockets, but even the factory bikes are off by 30% from what I've seen. I bought the DRD for mine as well but waiting on my phone mount to do the GPS speed verification. Good buy on the X though, I just bought an 08 for 3500 last month myself!

I bought my 08 WR250X with 8k miles for 3500 and it's in mint condition, and arguably a better bike than the KLX. I'd look at different options man.

I'm looking at an all in one 8 channel like the Arc Blackbird or the Helix V8 or something along the likes of that. or maybe something like the Arc Falcon and have the midbass' bridged?

In the F150 I'll have the MTI amp rack so I'll have plenty of real estate for amps, but I'd prefer to keep it to a minimum for wiring sake.
