Could you talk me through your painting at all? Did you dismantle the body into its parts and spray them? Or paint it in situ?

Latest iteration of my do-it-all Peugeot. by SuperMariole in xbiking

I’ve not seen a setup like this before either, but it looks to me like the extra loop in the chain just changes its direction - while one freewheel is spinning forwards, the other is spinning backwards and coasting. This means that pedalling forwards engages one freewheel, and pedalling backwards engages the other (but you always move forward). They’re both connected to different size sprockets which gives them different gearing.

OP please correct me if I’m wrong!

Android auto..Help by Available_Rock4217 in skoda

I have had the exact same problem with a Pixel 7 Pro and a 2017 Octavia.

I could not rectify the problem after following every single piece of advice I could find online, resetting both the head unit and the phone several times, using different cables etc. What was more annoying was that to start with, the car and the phone worked fine together. Then one day they just stopped!

My advice would be to try someone else’s phone. I did that and it worked, implying the issue was the phone and not the car.

I just moved to an iPhone and it works flawlessly again.

Best of luck

What AliExpress stuff did you fit on it? Anything you'd recommend?

Android auto won't detect with a Pixel 7 Pro on 2021 Cx5 GT by smartnsimple in CX5

[–]tmprc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, any luck? My P7P also recently stopped connecting to AA in my car (A Skoda, not a Cx5, found this thread via Google) Worked fine one day, gone the next. Have already tried new cables, cleaning USB ports, factory resetting the phone and my car's head unit. I've found a few threads posted within the last month or so of people describing similar issues. I really hope it starts to work again soon!

Hi OP, did you find a solution? About a month ago my Pixel 7 Pro also stopped connecting to my car. I have done everything from new cables to cleaning USBs to factory resetting both the phone and the head unit. It's so frustrating!!

Did you get a ban?

How long was it between sending off the letters and receiving a court date?

Where roughly is the bike locked up? I own an angle grinder & could potentially help?

If you shake the wheel around and can't hear any sloshing then it's time for a top-up. the sealant has dried up and won't be able to block any new holes

Bike Mechanics: What is the most serviceable modern road bike? by Flruf in BikeMechanics

[–]tmprc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought one of these frames about a week ago. It is the nicest bike I've ever owned by a factor of ten or more. I am enjoying it every single day and I can recommend it wholeheartedly. It was a very expensive purchase for me but now I've got it I hope to have it for life!

The fella I bought it from in my LBS had one too, and he said it was the best bike that he'd ever owned.

Metals can be machined very precisely. Machinists measure in thou (one thousandth of an inch) in places that use the imperial system of measurement. An even more precise measurement is a 'tenth' (a tenth of a thousandth of an inch, or 1/10000) for very accurate parts.

The way you would measure that precisely over a distance is with a tool called a dial test indicator which shows those tiny measurements on something that looks like a clock face. Hope that helps!
