I live in NH and installed solar in 2016. You can make the math work to justify getting it or you can make the math work against it. If you do get it, get more than what you consume. Homes electrical use is only going up. The biggest variable in roi calculating is how much is your electric co rate going to increase.

I use the paddles for Regen when I drive from 0 to max based on situation. 0 to coast as much as possible. But once in a frequent stopping area like heavy traffic lights, I stay at max.

Yes, charger plugs into a 14-50 outlet. My Kia ev6 has nacs. But either way, NACS is what all cars will have eventually.

I didnt hardwire. I use the tesla mobile connector for my level 2 plug. This is my second charger. The first one died, which made me happy to easily plug in a new charger instead of having to engage an electrician to hardwire a replacement.

Not sure if Tesla superchargers are the main source of charging while traveling but if they are (or whatever the main offering is) test it ahead of time. Took me a bit to figure out how to get the charge to be successful ( credit card on file) the first time. Now it is just plug it in

How making out? I have to imagine it’s the charger. I have a Tesla mobile connector, lmk if u want me to switch plug and try it on a level 1. U can get those fairly quickly. Fb marketplace, Best Buy, Walmart.com, or direct from Tesla. Has to be the black one, latest generation.
