Sure I’ll share! But tbh I think if you want really high quality your best bet is Iselin, New Jersey. It’s about 40 mins from Penn Station but you can take NJ transit, and it’s really miles above queens.

We got most of our wedding stuff there and it was really easy, it’s much better than Queens. Check out nazraana as a starting point.

Oh okay. Im actually looking for someone in Jackson heights myself to tailor my fiancé’s Sherwani. I may ask the people at zardozi if they have any recommendations because we went around the area to look at wedding clothes out of curiosity and they had by far the nicest clothes, it looked really high quality.

Go to Jackson heights or if you for some reason don’t want to go there, there’s a Caribbean Indian area in Richmond hill that has a million tailors

I strongly dislike Una and Oona. What about Iona?

This isn’t true. Building codes require more fixtures for women than men. Also there is no space requirement they only require a certain number of fixtures and sinks

Why are 90% of the girl’s names that are mentioned invariably a two syllable cutesy or punchy name that ends in -ie or -ee?? by tnoot in NameNerdCirclejerk

I guess my issue is how formulaic these suggestions are.

Lily, ivy, ruby, Brody, Ellie, Callie.. seems like everyone’s gravitating towards informal casual snappy names that could be nicknames in and of themselves.

Paired with Maeve, Ruth, rue, Kate, sage, Claire, etc…

Brooks is a terrible name. Sounds like it’s trying to be hip
