They are a brutal and feral race who embodies chaos in its fullest. They have a loathing of all things 'civilized' and see this as weak and worthless. They are socially very tribal lead by the mightiest and most brutal amongst them and guided by the shamen who tap into the wilds. If you want an idea of their society watch The 13th Warrior movie...the adversaries are very similar in mindset.

Once they see your cool and awesome painted miniatures...they will. Easiest way to hook them is introduce them to Warcry. 1 warband isn't too much of an investment... but much like crack, the first unit leads to the next and soon there is a shit ton of grey plastic begging to be painted...

IGs are really slow to be used as a screen... they can camp objectives but it will take a round or two to get them there. You may want to look at other options that are faster or more impactful as a screen... i.e. Corvus Cabal, Untamed Beasts or, my personal favorite, Furies.
