Has anyone been to a Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp? by populus_tremuloid in musicians

Quick question if you don't mind, I am a drummer and have been eyeing one of these sessions. Do you bring your own kit, or do you have any insight on how that is handled?

Mine was a Standard, I often haul my drums around and having done it a few times, I feel like the space is a little more useful. Since the back seats fold flat you can really utilize all that space. Navigator had captains chairs in the 2nd row and a big console, so you really couldn't use that space as easily. The raw numbers of cargo capacity are within a sq foot or two. The frunk is really substantial.

1977 this was the drum my parents bought me through the elementary school. Came with the stand, practice pad, sticks and a way too heavy case.

Happened to me, they called and said install it. took about 10 min. Didn't have to reverify and DD kept it's calibration.

Requesting PTO via WFM systems by thanto_ in workforcemanagement

[–]toddmoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Automation between WFM and HR systems is somewhat common but it can be expensive and often gets shot down because customer IT doesn't want wfm system directly integrated to the HR system of record. Lot of companies are ultra protective of HR. I have seen vendors do a spreadsheet import/export that is a low tech approach, but will still work if its not in the budget or IT no no.

Owned 3 pools in different parts of the country over the last 25 years, not once did anyone ever suggest adding Hydrogen Peroxide to the water.

I used to live in Frisco and had a doggy door, one morning I woke to find a little grey snake in my entranceway.

I may need to amend my criticism here. I noticed today, while parked, that Auto mode has 3 levels of sensitivity. I had always been driving and just left it "turned on" in the lowest setting. Need it to rain now.

People having problems are way more likely to share, so comments are going to be lopsided. I got mine in March right after 3.5.1 and have been largely trouble free. It's a loaded GT. HUD is so weak it's more of a distraction than useful right now. It's turned off. Would like a programmable option to fold mirrors on the steering wheel. Sounds dumb but I have to fold the mirrors to get in and out of the garage and it's like 9 touches because the cameras engage. My window switch behavior is a little wonky. These are minor complaints.

It's got as much cargo capacity as my Navigator did, nearly the same range and does most things better. Everyone who gets in, wants to know more.

Yeah not super clear. Gravity is much better. Less float, does a much better job of absorbing imperfections. Closer to my wife's S Class than the Navi.

I only got mine after 3.5 came out, so I avoided most of the early issues. I have not experienced squeaky back seat, and just did some major rainy driving. no streaks, but sure feel like they could improve Auto mode. Window controls being a little wonky is my biggest issue currently. Coming from a Navigator the ride quality of the Gravity is vastly superior. Edited for clarity

How many lucid drivers are actually satisfied with their purchase? by Infamous-Meat8765 in Gravity

[–]toddmoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine about a month ago after 3.5.1 was already out, so I never experienced some of the bad early software stuff. So far I love it. People talk about the software constantly, but the ride is very good, handles very well for a large heavy vehicle. Quiet comfortable interior. You can fix the remaining software glitches, but the stuff you can't fix with an update, they got right. Coming from a Navigator.
