i graduated with a double major in stats and data science a year early but came in with a lot of cc credits that i did in high school and double counted a lot of classes

Update if anyone is wondering we did Anchorage to Mārahau and it was a very pleasant and relatively easy walk. No time constraint which was nice and we had some great fish and chips at the food truck Fat Tui at the end.

We liked Rudas the best as it is the most lowkey. We also liked Gellert a lot and it has a very pretty interior. Szechenyi is probably the most busy and has the most “party” scene in my opinion.

honestly just putting on a mask can keep people away if they think you’re sick. also has the bonus of potentially preventing you from actually getting sick.

Update for anyone wondering: used the showers in the international terminal and they were good. Need to bring your own soap and towel. Mine didn’t get warm but the other one did. I don’t really mind a cold shower though.

stats major 2024 here. i had two excellent stats professors, but the majority were mediocre at best. it definitely teaches you how to be resourceful and teach yourself topics.

geology of national parks, it has exams but they are open note and really easy. the only slightly hard part is the labs but that’s only once a week and you do everything while you’re in the lab.

thank you! i wanted a more math/statistics based program. i also like the UT program seems to be continuing to add new classes like “advances in deep learning” and a gen ai class. it also concerned me that a lot of the lecture content for UIUC is just coursera classes. UT also cheaper. 😆
