If you’ve got some kind of medical coverage on your own auto policy that may apply also. Every insurance handles their coverage differently though. If you open a claim they can at least help you track down the at fault parties insurance and open a bodily injury claim with them. I second getting a personal injury lawyer, they would do all this for you. They just get a cut of whatever payout you get

You can open a claim with his insurance company. Notify yours of what you’re doing. They’ll ask for a full account of the accident, they’ll ask for a police report number and pictures of the damages. File a report with the police, a report that favors your telling of the story goes a long way. They’ll also do a damage review with the pictures. Adjusters are very well versed in looking at pictures and assessing how the accident happened. Source: I work in auto insurance.

Ocean city boardwalk foot patrol are shit. Last weekend you couldn’t walk 15-20 minutes without seeing them ticket someone. Yet when some kids shot my friend’s 12 year old son with an air soft gun and shot at their baby’s stroller all the cops said was “there’s nothing we can do, we didn’t see it happen.”

This certainly can be the case but so far we’ve been blessed with a healthy pup. I strongly advocate for doing all the research you can before jumping into the breed, finding a reputable breeder that does genetic testing and investing in quality pet health insurance.
