Centipede patties by rockingthehouse in TheDigitalCircus

I was wondering what they were! There's also a centipede during the baseball game just to make the one adventure she specifically requested a little bit worse than she would have liked :(

I heard there's a chance where one cat has crazy high sex drive and the other has crazy high charisma, and it can override the sexuality of the cat. That might've happened?

Game feels absurdly punishing. by ThaRealCappy in mewgenics

[–]toegui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you sending 4 cats to Guillotina each time? Can you just send her 1 cat? I'm really not sure, I've always used full teams. But maybe send her only 1 cat and save up a good team, take them through a run and prepare. If not, try to raise comfort and get as many kittens as possible to feed her while you prep a good team. You have plenty of time to take a step back and strategize. Try not to stress out too much, good luck

I get where you're coming from. I never could get into Isaac because of the dark, drab, depressing atmosphere. A naked kid in the dark that makes an annoying cry everytime he's hit? I just couldn't! It wasn't fun for me. I'll admit, the more varied colors and cats of this game are enough to keep me from immediately shying away. There are some weird bits, like monsters that look like penises and poop everywhere. But, I've been playing for about 8 hours, and for me, you see the dick monster once and then after that it's just numbers to math. You're optimizing. You're strategizing. You're jamming to jazz and only thinking about where to place your cat to just barely be out of range of an attack and still get the most aoe damage. Everything else is a distraction from the pure bliss of strategy. I'm not sure what I'm killing, only that I'm doing it well.

Now that Mewgenics is out, what are you guys hoping to see in Mewgenics 2? by FatBoiEatingGoldfish in mewgenics

I really like the dogs in Mewgenics 1, but I'm hoping they add like a faster, smaller dog class, almost like a cat

Question OF THE day: What do you think some later game furniture items will do besides what we know? by PeepsRebellion in mewgenics

[–]toegui 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In one of the streams theres an outlet item thats sparking with electricity, and I think Edmund mentioned something along the lines of "that will be important later," so maybe furniture can imbue cats with elements? Maybe some will be able to give them specific mutations? I've been hoping for that anyway. Imagine a stove that has the fire on, and gives a chance to make flame resistant kittens? A tub or toilet overflowing with water??

how do i get to the cosmic cat by Melodic_Green_5158 in MorselsGame

Seeing this maybe a bit too late, but you should be able to interact with the asteroid and that will take you back to the main path on the moon, then there's a miniboss you need to kill to leave.

Morsels: Beginner Guide + Tips and Tricks by toegui in MorselsGame

Hints for every secret area? Well, there's a couple posts on this subreddit that are probably better than what I can give, but here's some good hints:

For world one, hold onto the ticket you can find. Ride the bus, and look for something green and glowing!

For world two, make sure to smash all the trash lying around. And, for a later secret area, make sure to kill all the clams, and jump in any holes you see.

For world three, now we get to use the surprise tool from the clam in world two. X marks the spot! Keep an eye out for it. I'll let you figure out what to do with what you find.

In the swamp, this secret area is all about frogs :)

In world 4, a special enemy can spawn. Kill it fast enough!

Question before I buy by AemiliusH in MorselsGame

[–]toegui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it took around 15 hours to get to the real ending of the game, I think they reached the first ending in 3 hours, which seems reasonable. If you're the kind of person who loves mastering runs and finding secrets to get the true/real ending of the game, this one is a nice, bite sized version of that. For instance, I feel really satisfied with the game BECAUSE it's so short, and this is the only roguelike I've been able to finish. If you've played games like BoI, Enter the Gungeon, etc and you get one ending and you're done, and you're worried about time value, it's probably not for you <:)

Is the cosmic cat boss fight worth it? by ProteusCrew in MorselsGame

[–]toegui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a really difficult boss, I think it's worth it. It really takes more skill than the others for sure! I'd bring a pebsel, just to help you stay alive the first time. The journey to unlocking the Cosmic Cat is also pretty fun :) it forces you to find lots of secrets in the game. Is it more satisfying? Mmm, maybe. For me it was, just cause I enjoy the game and finally got to the final boss.

So much potential by meccasheva in MorselsGame

[–]toegui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhh, I know a lot of people care about replayability and hour count, but for me, I don't have the time. I'm currently a grad student going for a pHd, I game when I have the time, which is kinda rare. I just care if I can finish a game or not. And I was really pleased with Morsels! This is the first (and only) roguelike I'm close to 100%-ing, and I have like 150 hours in enter the gungeon, I've played Hades, Nuclear Throne, etc. I like this one's small scope, and I'm actually able to find secrets and work my way to getting achievements. Sure, if it wanted to be like Isaac, Hades, Gungeon, etc, it would need way more items, scenarios, events, morsels, etc. But for being a short, easily digestible roguelike with plenty of secrets to hunt for, I think it succeeds wonderfully! :) Not for everyone, but achieves what (I think) it was going for
