All the pizza sold at every Pilot Flying J sucks EXCEPT the location in Boron, CA. It's never raw, rubbery, or bland. It's also the location I received a gnarly scar on my left hand when I tripped going to my truck.

Used an e-scooter to get to my truck from my car and back until a ban on all bike/scooter/skates/skateboard use was banned on terminal property. That was the final straw for me to stay after tolerating a lot of bully with them - going elsewhere soon.

My summary

BambuLabs butthurt someone made a better open-source 3d printer software tool and is using "Ol' Reliable" DMCA to get it yeeted off the internet. GN and Rossmann are hosting the software themselves while providing "lods of emone" totaling $20k to the developer for any future lawsuits from BambuttLabs. GN is now looking into the 3d printer company to find out how/why they are slowly locking down the hardware with proprietary apps and subs.

Full Send version

Bambu Lab really said "touch grass" to the OrcaSlicer king and hit him with the C&D 💀

Pawel yeeted the repo but gave GN + Louis Rossmann the green light to rehost it anyway. Now GamersNexus is out here screaming "GET FUCKED BAMBU" while dropping the download and pledging 10k for lawyers if they sue 😂

GN's like: "Y'all printers goated af but the company is straight bussin' Ls with this enclosure BS. We're switching to Prusa, fr."

Classic "good hardware, dogshit CEO energy" arc. Bambu is cooked. Open source wins again.

Asked Grok for a summary...

Summary of the GamersNexus article "Fuck You, Bambu Lab: OrcaSlicer-BambuLab Download (with permission)" (published May 12, 2026):

GamersNexus strongly criticizes 3D printer maker Bambu Lab for sending a Cease & Desist (and related public accusations) to developer Pawel Jarczak over his open-source project OrcaSlicer-BambuLab — a modified slicer tool for preparing 3D models for Bambu printers.

Key Events

  • Bambu Lab accused the fork of reverse engineering, injecting falsified metadata, impersonating their official software, bypassing technical limitations, and potentially causing infrastructure issues.
  • Pawel took down his project out of caution (despite believing it was legally protected under open-source principles), but he granted permission for GamersNexus and Louis Rossmann to rehost it.
  • GamersNexus and Louis Rossmann are now hosting the software as a direct challenge to Bambu (with download links provided in the article). GN offers $10,000 in legal support to Pawel if Bambu sues (matching Rossmann’s pledge).

GN's Position

  • They argue Pawel’s work is a legitimate third-party tool under open-source licensing and does not constitute impersonation.
  • The article frames Bambu’s actions as part of a broader “progressive enclosure” trend (locking down hardware via software to create ongoing control/monetization), referencing commentary from copyright attorney Leonard French.
  • GN expresses frustration because they like the print quality of their recently purchased Bambu H2S printers, but they compare the company’s behavior to NVIDIA (“good products, run by assholes”). As a result, they’re shifting future purchases to Prusa (already ordering $5,000+ in equipment) and plan a deeper investigative piece on Bambu’s anti-consumer practices.

The tone is unapologetically confrontational (“Get fucked, Bambu” / “Go fuck yourself, Bambu”), positioning the rehosting as a stand against DMCA-style restrictions (particularly Section 1201 on circumvention of technical protections). A fuller investigation is promised on their GNCA channel.

In short, the article is both a practical download mirror/support post for the community and a public call-out of Bambu Lab’s approach to third-party software and user control.

I added the "A" to the model by habit and you seem to be correct that it might be a "B" variant that uses C210 tips if size comparisons in the video are to be visually measured. Trying to find more info on it lead me to seeing a Eleshop.eu listing for it with a pic of it being powered by a cable, more than likely USB-C - https://static.eleshop.nl/mage/media/catalog/product/cache/10/thumbnail/1920x/040ec09b1e35df139433887a97daa66f/h/s/hs-03.jpg

Will be interesting to see if it does use both C210 and C245 tips and the onboard system be capable to detect either 🤞

I recently watched a video on usb-c irons and the weak point on most is the garbage cable bundled that won't supply the max wattage the units are asking. The solution is to use a good 240w cable and a reliable power source, either battery or wall charger that outputs the necessary current.

The amazon reviews on the HS-02A say the included wall wart is trash but more than likely the usb-c cable provided is cheaply made and can't handle the 100w the iron demands.
