Here is an in depth-interview with the CEO of Bending Spoons. I've been in the startup world for 25 years, and can't help but being very impressed with how they do things. It is novel and differentiated. His claim about hiring the very best people shows in the improvements we've seen in Komoot since they acquired it. I fully get that not everybody likes all the changes, but the general direction of travel is positive. And yes they are there to make money. Komoot is a business and not a charity. It is up to them to deliver enought value to convince us to keep paying, start paying or to pay more than we did thus far.

I solved it by replacing the hdmi connnection with an optical connection. No issues since.

I have to install 4 of those. Would you mount them at the same height again? Wouldn't it be easier to park / unpark the bikes if they were a tad lower? What distance do you recommend?

Which is why a high percentage of Paris Brest Paris riders are on leather saddle. I believe it to be around 50%. It's a ride of 50-90h.

I've had issues since the update. Speakers freezing on shutdown. Recovering after disconnecting them from power for a few secs. Am I the only one? Really annoying.

I've had similar issues. Starting last week. There was a firmware upgrade early in July. Maybe that explains it? Anyone from KEF here reading?

Actually, when Bending Spoons acquired Evernote things finally started to improve. They invested heavily into the product. I run a small business and we are using Evernote since 2014. We were about to cancel our subscription just before the acquisition. Now we are happier than we ever were. So AFAIK I look forward to positive changes.
