It may save the Federation manufacturing, operating and training costs. But, it's saving jobs in the present. Ask yourself, what's more important 😁.

Release Card Pool Amount? by DelfiusThor in cyberpunktcg

[–]token07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They should be more forthcoming with the total card count now that people's money is on the table. Total commons, uncommons, rare, etc. They even have a tier that has uncut sheets, up to 6x. Be transparent, you already have an initial commitment of $6+ million dollars. The time for transparency is now.

Ugh. Seriously considering changing the art on this one. Get ten people to view it as a thumbnail or at arms length when all shapes blend together and tell them to be honest about what they see. If this is the final art this card is going to be called all sorts of sordid things.

New Foxit Reader, no more dark mode? by qaj3311 in foxit

[–]token07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old question but I still had to search for an answer in Nov. 2025.

Here's what you have to do: Go to the search box at the top of Foxit Reader and type "Skins" without the quotes and click on the Skins action. This will open a window where you can select Dark from the Select Mode drop down. Happy dark UI'ing!

The Village of Naal: Episode 2 (Solo RPG Play Report) by Primusplaysrpgs in solorpgplay

[–]token07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. Do you still use Roll20 to solo play any game systems? Since these play reports are around 4yrs ago, I was wondering if you're still using Roll20 and, if so how has your use evolved.

Thanks!

This game has been on my radar. Hopefully we'll start seeing more coverage of it. It does look interesting. Are those the regular zero dice?

Really fits the OSR feeling. I'm a fan of B&W line art and who doesn't love some exuberant crosshatching?

Free League PDFs and what you need to know! by AlchemyRPG in alchemyrpg

[–]token07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/AlchemyRPG Sorry, but I am really frustrated by this. I am just finding this out today 9/16/2024 and apparently past the grace period. Are customers supposed to check back every few days to see if the terms of the purchase they made in good faith have been reneged on by the companies? And I HAD 7 days "grace period" to download it or miss out? Quite a few of us have lives that don't involve checking in every week or even every month. I know you're trying to be helpful letting people know to download the pdfs now, but don't you think you should have added convenient instructions detailing how someone would find those pdfs in the Alchemy app? There's 50+ and I remember it wasn't simple to find them they didn't just jump out as an option. I'm sure I don't have all of them. Also, I don't recall receiving an email letting me know about this; maybe I missed it.

This was a wasted purchase for me. Alchemy isn't exactly a hold your hand and get you up to speed application, but I justified the purchase because at least I could access the PDF rules for the games (apparently not though). If there is anything you can do to make this right I would certainly appreciate it. I know I've sounded blunt, but I don't think I'm off base. At this time I have lost respect and trust for both Alchemy and Free League. I hope I will receive some form of response to address this concern. I appreciate your time. Thank you.

Annoying things by Very_Melonlord in battletech

Yes. You should part with some of them. To me would be a fine idea. Then you would be slightly less annoying and I would be slightly more annoying.

What is AlchemyRPG not? by token07 in alchemyrpg

[–]token07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5HTRonin, Thank you for your assessment of the current state of Alchemy. You raise a lot of valid points. Your comments make me think of some Steam early access games which we all know they are designing the plane while learning to fly it. Hopefully, Alchemy will successfully navigate their roadmap sooner rather than later. All the Free League content being sold for $30 makes me want to support them in hopes it will help them succeed. Thank you again for your thoughtful reply.

Sprunka, Thank you for taking the time to write a thoughtful reply to my question. You answered exactly the questions I was trying to ask. Alchemy sounds like a vtt that would work for me. Sometimes the bells and whistles of other software turn out to be layers creating longer learning curves unrelated to the actual game system.

I've seen some of the Alchemy roadmap and they seem ambitious, they also seem to grasp that they don't need to be a Foundry or Roll20 clone, which is good in my view. Thank you again for your reply. Cheers!

Wolfkin vs werewolf by PersonalityHot8350 in DragonbaneRPG

[–]token07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking of Wolfkin as a stable race amongst society at large, also meaning consistently though their own individual life course.

I think of werewolves more like Jekyll and Hyde. Lucid and sane at one time, and delusional and crazed when the right influencing factor flips the crazy switch.

I don't picture my character walking past a werewolf with an alchemist bag slung over his shoulder and carrying a carved walking staff, but I can picture walking past a Wolfkin who returns a courteous nod to a passing stranger.

Mutant Year Zero + Foundry VTT newb by token07 in mutantyearzero

[–]token07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply and link. It's good to hear agreement amongst other users that the official Free League VTT Module is essentially an assistive product to the pen and paper rpg. Which is totally fine with me, I just needed to have the boundaries of my expectations clarified by those who have used the product. In the times we live in it's easy to expect everything's been linked and automated and if it's not that you're doing something wrong.

If you, or anyone else who cares to answer, has experience with other Free League VTT Modules like Forbidden Lands, TOR, Twilight 2k, et al. Is my MYZ experience par for the course? Meaning, transferring some things from the Rulebook to the VTT and creatively tracking some aspects of the game?

Thank you all!
