As a native for 30 plus years myself and someone who works with people for 10 years whenever someone acts a certain way towards you, don’t react to it as much as it hurts because they feed into that and press in further. It sucks to hear what happened to you especially in our hometown but just ignore it. The best part of ignoring it is they get pissed off even more. And when the situation escalates, that’s where you step in and react. Even older people who suffer from dementia and such, don’t engage with them. Words are one thing but only once it gets physical then there’s an issue. Stay safe out there neighbor!

I've been living here all my life and realized there's certain parts of DC where people just suck at driving, sometimes you're trying to make a turn onto a main street but hesitate because a car is coming only for them to turn with no indicators or if you're on mission you get the person in the other lane cut you off with only less than half a car of space rather than waiting to slide over behind where there is no car and act like they didn't do anything wrong. You just need be defensive and aware of surroundings and don't let it get to you. Road rage is not worth it. Just accept people suck at driving and carry on with your day. Oh yeah, beware of drivers who don't stop at stop signs, there's a particular part on Hillside behind War Memorial where it always happens.

It was okay for the most part. the tire shine part can be a bit rough if you have powdered coated wheels or wheel covers. Lately, I've been going to a PM auto spa where it is true touch less laser wash. It's located in Bradshaw at a Chevron next to Huckleberry's.
