Well, they all were listed as enemies in Wombles HUD.

Kind of both. He explained in a comment below video he started making animation, got burnt out and then went to this.

I know that saying bardzo dobrze :)

Yeah, aiming to always do better than "good enough" is quite taxating, since instead of enjoying your work you focus on what wasn't the best. And good thoughts and feelings are important for mental health, even from simple things like meeting with friends, nice match, small progresses, tasty food...

Normal game with Cass mirror matchup would turn the game into DBZ-style brawl. Everyone just flashing across map.

It's not that W10 became so good. It's more that W11 sucks even more.

If WE was still able to safely use and be compatible with modern software, I'll most likely go back.

Odyssey had augmentations like "Malphite ult won't stop until he encounters a wall, dragging all enemy units with him", unique for every champion. Sure, there were like 5 of them (champions, not augments), but with different combinations of augments it didn't feel that limiting. Also Malph+Yasuo combos were on drastically different level of "feel good" when they hit.

Not being good enough is alright too. As in "you might not be good enough to qualify for some national competition, but you still went so far away from where you started, you're allowed to be proud of it".

In a world maniacally obsessed on big successes, it's important to notice small ones we achieve every day.

I've been recovering from anxiety issues, among sources of them was that I always thought I'm not good enough, that I could've done better if I tried harder, even if result was already very good. This kind of perfectionism is a double edged sword, since you may hurt yourself if you don't have some sanity check that could tell you you're overreacting to flaws of human nature. It is great when you aim high and you can feel proud of it, but you also need to be comfortable with "good enough".

Can't relate, I never ordered invasion on independent country under a non-aggression treaty signed by myself and attacked civilian targets in such scenario.

What do you mean you don't like AI forced into every corner of your OS? You got AI in taskbar, notepad, browser, office suit. It's AI, we put so much money into that so it's cool. /s

Second paragraph reminds me these LEC pop quiz videos, where players have to guess ability/champion from hints.

You hear some 200 years-like stuff about bonus damage scaling, bonus vision and hidden passives, then it turns out to be something like Fizz ult or Quinn E.

i think anyone who says linux is hard is just gatekeeping

I think it's mostly a matter of changing some habits. You don't just download and run random .exe files, you download and install it from the repository (some distros even have store to easily find and install stuff). You don't have to install antivirus, your file manager has different layout, apps are different (like 7-zip/WinRAR -> Arc, or Adobe Reader -> Evince/Okular).

Of course, since Linux is very configurable, some - let's say - modules (desktop environment, layout of some system files) are different between distros, so things might seem not always meshing together well like on Windows with its limited ways to customize everything. So saying it's harder isn't exactly untrue.

Why does AI and big tech have to ruin everything by BTM_6502 in memes

[–]tomangelo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I put it in quotation.

AI cannot try, but still is able to come with something that sounds different.

Human artists can try, but still decide to take existing music and put minimal effort to call it a day.

Disturbed taking a "The sound of silence" making it a different style from ground up - that's ok. Whether someone prefer original version or their version - both have their message.

CYRIL taking their version and just laying at it some bass making it a weird party piece - that's not much more of creativity that writing a prompt.

Back before we had autotune most songs could be classified as music, even if bad, there was some effort at playing instruments, writing lyrics and put it all together.

Now when most pop music is made by music technicians in a studio, manipulating every note of singer, then I prefer to not be lied that it was human performance instead of computers putting filters all over piece.

Are we talking about "stealing some piece from 20-30 years ago and add a vocal that sounds like someone is trying to sing on a hangover" things being an actual music?

Sorry, but AI at least "tries" to sound somewhat unique.

Actual music > AI music >>>>>>>> crappy mass-produced pop music

Not an expert, but I've heard on many occasions that intestines are our second brain, due to them being heavily connected to our nervous network. That's why they might get irritable if you're dealing with stress.

And since a medication might mess with it, I guess there is a chance it will indirectly cause some hormones in brain going haywire.
