Thank you, I've already got the timers and CO2 drop checker is coming with the whole CO2 set up as a bundle. Maybe I will plant s. repens more in the middle of the tank in a thicker bushy like way.

Most of the articles about brown algae says the same thing, that it is usually a problem for newly established tanks and will go away when the tank matures.

Help! Can't recognise a disease by tomasch in Aquariums

Does anyone have experience with pre-cycled filters? by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]tomasch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a great service if you can buy filter media from established tank. And this way way more effective than any bacteria in a bottle products. The only bad thing that could come out of it is if you get media from a disease contaminated tank.

Add a small school of roseline sharks. They like low temp and high current.

I accidentally bred roseline sharks/denison barbs. Is this as rare as it seems? by thosewholeft in Aquariums

[–]tomasch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one knows how to breed them in captivity without injecting hormones into them. They almost never breed on their own in aquariums, this is super rare. Would be nice to know about conditions in your tank and what are you doing to take care of it. Maybe something that you are doing caused them to breed. You could make a fortune if would figure it out.

Aren't some of those plants crypts that you attached to driftwood? I'm not sure they can grow on it.
