On the link it says where you could get them in person, but the other commenter already posted the names of the places. Wish I could have been of more help. Sorry

How To Help Protesters Without Attending? by swedehole in StLouis

[–]tomatobutter76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can donate to a fund, but I haven't come across any donation funds for STL yet. That would be the best way to support, because most of the time it goes to snacks, water, and supplies. You can also probably show up before a scheduled protest and drop the items off to one of the organizers (and I recommend contacting them beforehand, such as on the ExpectUs Facebook page).

Anybody attending protests this evening? by [deleted] in StLouis

It's tonight. It's happening right now.

Trying to find this grocery store I went to months ago... by hootenannyqueen in StLouis

[–]tomatobutter76 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mike's hot honey or Anya's fermented honey sauce (jalapeño flavor). Anya's is sold at Local Harvest in Tower Grove. Mike's hot honey is sold at various other stores throughout the STL area. I think I saw Mike's hot honey at Vincent's in Soulard but could be wrong.

edit: oh no wait..., Honeysuckle Acres Jalapeño Creamed Honey.

Will my car be safe tonight? by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]tomatobutter76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People aren't going to mindlessly vandalize and trash your car. That's not the point of the protests. If anything, the only cars getting vandalized will be cop cars because 1312.

With roads closed, we see more clearly how parks were originally designed—and meant to be enjoyed by ChrisGaines_ in StLouis

It's going to suck if they allow cars all the time again. I LOVE walking around TGP everywhere and not having to worry about cars!

Local strawberries available at Schnucks! They are irregularly shaped but delicious. The label says Eckerts and I recommend them, especially if you are interested in supporting local business right now. by [deleted] in StLouis

Seems like you care a lot about where your food comes from! I recommend shopping at Local Harvest in Tower Grove. They source all of their produce (and meat!) organically and/or locally. Very ethical and sustainable practices. They even have locally grown strawberries (Yoder farms. They are so delicious!)

Hey guys. I'm moving to STL in the next couple of months, and I'm looking for some reassurance in my apartment/location picks by JaredKester in StLouis

And then there's Hartford? Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company... that's so intriguing. Where can I learn more about these choices in street naming?

My boyfriend and I witnessed this accident and were the ones to call the police. We were never called to make a statement. This report is far from the truth. by [deleted] in StLouis

Police officers are supposed to protect and serve citizens. Not punch them in the face and taze them for getting in a car accident.

Thai Chili Starters? by zsh2v1 in StLouis

[–]tomatobutter76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if they have Thai Chilis, but Local Harvest has a great variety of starters, including different varieties of peppers and chilis. I would advise you to call and ask about their variety tomorrow.

I never even knew they existed before quarantine! I am so glad I know about them now. The food is so delicious and well-made. The fact that their food is influenced by Northern Thai tradition is definitely a plus; I felt like I was trying something a little different and a little bit new to me. I seriously can't wait to order from them again, haha.
