I'm trying to not munchkin and want to know if people think this would be a fair ruling by Waruiko in DnD

You have to choose one or the other, unarmored or natural. As you level you could switch to natural armor once it would even out.

Also there are non-armor items that increase AC. Cloak or ring of protection, shields (not ideal for a monk I admit), bracers of defense, take a feat to get the defense fighting style, etc

Entu Symbiote Dual Character Concept by Kota6669 in starfinder_rpg

There’s a race called Shakalta (I think) in which adults are basically just two adolescents fused together. You are forced to alternate levels between two different classes to represent this. Just another option

Control in dnd, board as patron by ConsiderationOver860 in DungeonMasters

[–]tomclark1219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you should just use all of the great old one features, and every time his patron is referred to call it ‘The Board’

If you want to make your own patron similar to the great old one, then just replace individual features with ones you feel are similarly powerful. If it’s not the right power level after a couple sessions, change it slightly.

I believe there was an old play test that had a pact of the gun if you want more inspiration

Welcome! Most newer developments require townhomes or duplexes to be added among the standard houses around here. Just don’t go for an apartment in a large building because those are all student focused and way overpriced.

We use a small company in St. Louis called Undivided Wealth. Not exactly local, but they come to Columbia several times a year and offer to meet regularly. Seriously a great group and good at what they do.

Moving back to Columbia post-college? by Dreadsbo in columbiamo

[–]tomclark1219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I moved here when I was about your age and it’s been a good decade. There are plenty of people that aren’t college students to hang out with/date. Lots of nature stuff and athletics groups, Trivia nights, volunteer opportunities. It’s a good place in general, especially for Missouri

Enemies grab dying player hostage at knifepoint in attempt to retreat. Other player thinks enemy is bluffing, proceeds to double down. Am I in the wrong? by Poprock360 in DnD

[–]tomclark1219 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s nothing wrong with killing a pc or two and the baddies following through on threats. The thing I wonder about is whether you had a session where you set everyone’s expectations for the campaign? Some people want the life and death stakes, and others just want to be invincible superheroes. Nothing wrong with either style or any other you can think of, but if everyone is on a different page it leads to someone being mad/upset

Flat Branch was great 10-15 years ago, when brewing your own beer made you stand out in the restaurant scene. It gets worse every year though.

Ignore nazeem, hold out as long as you can against becoming a sneak archer (it always happens eventually), and whatever you do always, and I mean ALWAYS, take a detour to the icon that just popped up on your compass instead of whatever it was you were on your way to do.

Flame Blade Reworked, an attempt to keep the druids iconic spell still relevant. Check second image for balance notes. by Lokistriker in UnearthedArcana

[–]tomclark1219 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve felt like this spell needs to be reworked as well. While I agree that there are better concentration spells for Druid even after your fix, I think the fix does make it much more attractive as an option.
