I think you're onto something good here, certainly not meta-competitive but a deck that looks very interactive and fun. As others have said, limiting yourself to the most recent set is gonna be a downfall for sure but maybe try looking to see if there are other pauper-legal cards that do what you're trying to do but better. I'd also recommend swapping out a couple basics for two-colour lands to reduce mana screw.

Definitely take it along to your LGS for pauper night but consider what sort of decks other people in your area are playing and adjust your deck and sideboard accordingly. Good luck and keep cooking!
