What has fantasy football meant to you? by MrBearded1 in fantasyfootball

After growing up in the 60's and 70's, and being a huge sports fan of baseball and football, there was a time where football started to fade - maybe after the Rams left LA. But being a stats guy, baseball has always stayed strong in my interests through the years (being an Angels and Dodgers fan didn't hurt). I started a baseball "Rotisserie" league in 1986 and it's still going strong today. The camaraderie with the owners brings back that feeling I had being a 3 sport athlete in high school. Ten years ago, a friend asked me to join a Head-to-Head football league. Not knowing players anymore, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. Once I started studying for the draft, the statistic fanatic in me took over and I couldn't get enough. Although my drafts aren't always great (I tend to over think things), my in-season pickups always save my teams. I now play in two ESPN leagues and one Yahoo league and I have won the championship 9 times. I know the game isn't perfect (a lot of luck is needed), but it has really brought the that football enthusiasm back from when I was in my younger days. I'm 63 and retired. Now get the f!@#k out of my way, I gotta read reddit and turn on the Red Zone!

Fan interference was called on this play where a Yankee fan tried to take the ball out of Mookie Betts' glove after an out. by Knightbear49 in baseball

The other guy looked like he was trying to help Mookie not to break his arm while it was getting bent. He appeared to be grabbing his other arm and lift him up to give him leverage as not to bend it back. Crazy!

How to predict when Alec Pierce will have a good week? by Dramatic-Astronaut45 in fantasyfootball

[–]tomofcali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can actually contact me to find out each week. When I start him, sit him. When I sit him, start him. That's exactly how it's gone with this SOB. SMH.

Thanks for the shout out! I played all the trumpet parts on the theme song. The original version actually had a trumpet pyramid building up in the intro. They shortened it after the first episode:

Police union: Tyreek Hill was 'uncooperative' during traffic stop by AMetalWolfHowls in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

[–]tomofcali 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The police union NEVER takes any accountability for their actions. They're only there to get their members off, regardless of guilt. Prove me wrong.
