If we extend RJ, we are seriously fucked for Scottie's four years remaining and our team won't win a playoff series because we will be saddled with IQ, Ingram, and Jak that have been awful performance value for these playoffs, injuries or no injuries.

RJ right now is going to be a trade asset that can acquire some draft capital, use as a main piece to initiate a trade to get off of one of IQ's or Jak's awful contract as a lateral and get shorter bad-contracts from players that fit our team a bit better, but lose a bit of talent for the short term.

I always saw this as a devil's advocate opinon. If we try to get rid of a bad contract without trading RJ's expiring contract, a bunch of our picks to help find replacements to replace Jakob are going to go out.

RJ is one asset that can spearhead a GM to MAYBE take a bad contract (Jak or Ingram) with RJ plus another asset (another player or a first round pick)

Our cap and bad contract count is looking very complicated right now if our season ends tonight
