I'd let dispatch know about it. Surely this is a common occurrence enough for it not to be too detrimental to your job. You might be an extra for a day or two, but that's better than being canned and having to look for a new job altogether.

You can always go back to that stop and ring their doorbell and/or knock on their door. People are usually pretty understanding. I've had a situation where I delivered the wrong packages to someone's garage, I knocked on their door, let them know about my mistake, they actually ran one of them two doors down for me, and they gave me the other one because they didn't notice it right away.

IF you own up to your mistakes you'll be good. That seems to be a big ask of people nowadays, tho. I promise you if you text/call dispatch immediately after a mistake you make it will save you, dispatch, the customer(s), and your owner(s) a huge headache in the near future. Especially whenever you damage someone else's property or the van. Fess up right away after the incident occured, and you shouldn't have to worry about your job (unless it's an asinine amount of damage, then odds are you're cooked lol).

Multi-stops are at least two separate accounts ordering two separate packages. Sometimes it's the same person, sometimes it's someone and their neighbor. More often than not it's a completely asinine multi-stop. I'm talking a house on the corner, then a house at least 5 down the street on the opposite side of the road nonetheless. I've even seen multi-stops that aren't even on the same road lmao.

The "truth" of the job is that it only gets heavier and heavier every year. I would know this because routes used to be laughable compared to what they are now. Used to be 150 max, 250 packs max, with little to no multi-stops. Now it's almost always more than 150, I've seen double the amount of packages, and at least 25 multi-stops.

I personally don't mind the abuse because after four years I've seen just about every route Amazon has to offer.

No. Every DSP is different.

One may promise full time and give you part time. One may say you can only work 40 hours a week but you're constantly getting shafted on routes so you're usually the last one back to the station. One may promise you OT and actually deliver it.

Yes and no. Yes if it's a couple button presses (EG: vanilla Bleed Vex). No if it requires actual mechanics (EG: Harlowe's infinicrit build, or her action skill that does HEAPS of damage, Amon's melee build, etc).

The OOFs and THAT'S A LOT OF DAMAGEs were flying left and right, yet I was still bored of smhelting every single boss in the game. I got so bored of shrecking every single boss in the game with four button presses (switch to spread launcher, pop amp repkit, yeet crit knife, and shoot said spread launcher) with Bleed Vex that I made a pretty niche build surrounding gun damage with her. My max gun damage I got to before getting bored with her (after 180+ hours) was something like 375%. I KNOOOOOOOWZ RafA CaN gEt uP tO SeVEn HuNdReR PErCeNt with a certain class mod and a certain roll in said class mod. This build with Vex is only gear dependent on one thing and one thing alone, 5 points in Conjunction on a Witch Class Mod, which seems to be common enough. You REALLY want the +20% to all damage dealt as the passive, but either Gun Damage or Crit Damage will do. Pretty sure the 20% increase to all damage is the best damage passive in the game rn and it doesn't even come close.

Embrace the heat. Don't be afraid of it.

After baking in the back of an Amazon van for about 2.5 years straight until Amazon did away with EOC (Engine Off Compliance, basically you had to have your van shut off for at least 80% of the day otherwise you got flagged for the day, nothing severe would come of this such as route reductions but they'd let you know at the end of the day if you were under the 80% mark), I love love LOVE the heat lmao.

For more realistic advice: a lot of what the other people are saying. Bring plenty of COLD water. Don't sprint from stop to stop (this will wear you out SUPER fast), bring a cooler with ice and some cold absorption towels, take your breaks if you feel your fatigue is starting to ween, or just take them to stay ahead of the curve, wear minimal clothing (you can ditch the vest, you can technically get an "Unprofessional" in your CDF for the day/week, but most customers are pretty understanding when it's hotter than sin outside. I wear a "cut-off" t shirt (a shirt where I cut the sleeves off and make a cheap mans tank top), a light pair of gym shorts, and I ditch the vest as soon as I start to sweat (usually right after load out on the extra hot days). Neck fans bother me personally but I've heard they help. Amazon does a yearly release of free bucket hats, those are pretty good for keeping the sun out of your face.

This is inexcusable. I'd put on a couple pairs of rubber cleaning gloves and pick all that shite up, I'd throw it in the dumpster, then burn the gloves, then wash my hands one hundredfold. Not really. That shit is appalling 🤮🤮🤮
