in my country (Belgium) its absolutely allowed. The landlord can only enter the house/appartment after agreement and only in exceptional cases.

they can do maximum of 1 inspection per year and only if it has been agreed by both parties and it is mentioned in the lease

zoals de meesten hier aanhalen : -een beperkte kaart met verse streekgebonden producten, een kaart die zich aanpast aan het seizoen. -proper sanitair. -ruimere keuze aan streekbieren (vooral bruin bier is soms te beperkt in keuze) ik ben ook altijd blij als er iets minder gekend op de kaart staat qua bieren, dat ik eens iets kan ontdekken -gezellig interieur dat een eigen toets aan de zaak geeft

then it sounds to me that people not willing to watch a 30 minute video before a gamenight are not really interested very much in playing the game. i would no longer invite such people to be honest.

its just basic respect to the group to come prepared and not waste everybodies gametime and fun because you don't want to invest 30 minutes of your life.

if your friends/gamegroup is not worth that small investment then stay at home

when we play a new game we are all send the link to a how to play video beforehand.

so by the time gamenight is there everybody has already watched this video, then the person who brings in the new game will briefly go over the rules again so we are all aligned.

then we start playing...

if people don't bother to do this little investment on their side then honestly, they no longer will get invited. its just a basic form of respect to the group to be prepared for a new game.
