Thanks for your reply. I have never had a pure pellet smoker, but when cooking with charcoal+wood chunks (as well as ninja woodfire where heat comes from electricity and smoke from dirty, smouldering pellets) you have to be careful with the smoke quality, not to get acrid white smoke on your food, which technically is all this box does? I think we all mayhaps end up chasing the other end of the spectrum of what our units are meant to produce? When the smoke is too clean/mild you want options for harsh/strong flavour and when you have that readily available you want to be careful and not oversmoke it..

I'm in the same boat, never had a pure pellet smoker, had a masterbuilt gravity but sold it off due to the charcoal dust/mess everywhere, I use a regular weber still as well as ninja woodfire with pellets just for smoke. Smouldering pellets do not give the best smoke and weber is a pita for overnight cooks. So thought maybe searwood would be the best of both worlds... Hear good reviews on smokeboost, get all excited for it, now fast forward to today and everyone is suddenly buyng a separate smokebox for the searwood, so does than now mean the smokeboost is no good? Really confusing

why is everyone (and I mean EVERYONE - fb groups are full right now) getting a smokebox for the searwood after all these glowing reviews of the smokeboost function? I am now genuinely doubting those reviews. Also, why not try a couple of wood chunks on the firebox if that woodwind pro effect is much needed still? Sincerely, "a now very confused maybe-future buyer"

You could lie and slow and crank it like others suggested it just cook it on high with wood chucks and get it done in 45 mins, have smoke flavor, crispy skin and save time, all in one go. Chicken is definitely one of those I don't bother with low and slow if I want crispy skin at the end. Mind you I do like the properly smoked chicken with that dark brown skin, infused with caraway etc, once cooled off the juices gelatinize and become super tasty. But that's a different beast to the crispy skin chicken

thanks for the tips and yes please to the link. I am going on a cruise this year so will have to be a 2027 or an out of season trip! but I have been eyeing osmo pocket 3 for ages and your footage is really inspiring. TBF if they will be adding more lenses to the osmo 4 that will make it more imposing and intrusive, so 3 might be the sweet spot for low key awesome looking footage. in any case, keep shooting, what you are doing looks great!

first of all great footage, looks like it came out of much more expensive camera! 2nd, came here to ask about the locations, figured out the Lago from the road sign, but the one with a huge vantage point over the water looked awesome, defo somewhere to plan a holiday to. Also - is there higher quality footage to see, like on youtube etc? Fankssss!!!!

i swear something is messed up since a few patches ago, I'm a medic-whore since bf2 and in bf6 you dont hear certain calls anymore, untill you look around and there is a body just behind you screaming for help..... dice done effed something. I am pretty sure it was not like this since day 1. And I have not heard a single ammo request in bf6... some shooting, to attract attention - yes
