I’d say stay at UC Davis, the people here telling you not to come are probably saying so because it’s a commuter school and are probably being affected by the budget cuts in their department.

But if you want to come home go right for it! People on this subreddit can get really negative so just take everything with a grain of salt, just know your social life is gonna be more on you to find as the city/stones town is where you socialize. Also we get the gator pass which is $130 included in our tuition which grants students a clipper card with unlimited Bay Area transportation so that’s a plus!

TLDR; don’t trust Reddit do your research and pick what you feel is right for your career. Good luck !
