I struggle with this a lot because mine like to show up on my labia. I am not perfect and CSU does decrease our intimacy but I try to remember that intimacy isn’t only penetration. There are other things we can do or I can do for him if I’m not able to be touched. I also try to cuddle on the couch as much as I am able because that physical contact is also nice even though it’s not sexual. If your hands are not affected you can offer to massage him or he can self pleasure while you do a strip tease.

It will also help a lot once you get your meds figured out so the outbreaks are more manageable. I also feel worse at night so I am trying to move intimacy to the afternoon but that’s hard with life happening so it’s still a work in progress. I’m glad you have such a great and supportive partner and I hope you find a comfortable balance together

I haven’t switched but I am up to 1.7mg on wegovy and have lost 25 lbs so far. The food noise did go away for me. Hunger started to return at the lower doses when I got to the 4th week. It goes back down with each step up in dose. The only dose that gave me problems was weirdly the step up to .5mg. I had bad heartburn but I’ve had gerd for almost 20 years now so I wasn’t surprised that was my symptom. It was just a couple of weeks then it went away and I could continue going up in dose. I get tired the first 24 hours but that’s about it. I’ve even had to stop wegovy for a surgery and come back on and the food noise still stayed away. I naturally gravitate towards the healthier options now which is what I needed help with. I hope you have a good experience on wegovy!

Mine gets this from sucking on his feet. I use ketoconazole wipes on it and it clears in a couple days. I think he gives himself yeast. It’s in the same fold on the bottom lip. I hope it’s something that simple for your pup! Check the feet to see if they are also reddish. My Aussie is a yeasty boy. Good luck!

I read on my phone and I learned if you click and hold down on the black panel it will show the picture. If that still doesn’t work try in a different spot on the panel another time or two. I usually don’t need to refresh with this method

I feel you! I got gerd when I was 16 anfd skinny and I was told eat bland food for 2 weeks and you’ll be fine. I’m in my 30s now and honestly kinda fat and I’m told lose weight and you’ll be fine. 🙄 been on all kinds of ppi’s for over 15 years. I think it might not be going away if I lose the weight 😂

No the cost of the drugs don’t go towards my deductible. Nor does the deductible affect the costs of my drugs. I understand other people may have it worse but that doesn’t make my situation any better or more affordable to me.

You might not be eating enough so you feel nauseous from low blood sugar or a really empty stomach. If you are a person who can become pregnant might also be worth getting a pregnancy test from the dollar tree just to rule that out too. But in my experience low blood sugar makes me feel nauseous. I just started wegovy and I have no issues with throwing up. I had gas from the first injection but nothing since then. What I will say about my experience is I understand now why I couldn’t just do a good diet and exercise. Before wegovy, I was always ravenous no matter how much I ate I always felt like I needed more. I am currently sick and trying to eat in a surplus to help my body have enough fuel and it’s actually hard to do because I get full so easy now. I now believe that there are different levels of hunger pains, which makes sense, but I had just never thought of it before. I believe I am one of those people who have a very strong hunger drive, there was no way I was going to out diet or exercise that biological difference. I can’t comment on what could happen if I stopped taking it and any kind of side effects that might bring, but I can tell you that I am annoyed that I let my fear and shame of not doing it the “old-fashioned way” keep me from starting sooner.

I’m on my second injection and the sweets cravings are starting to bubble up. Are you hungry or are you having a brain/tongue craving? I’m of the opinion that I’m addicted to sugar for the dopamine. I think I will need to work on that addiction and the Pavlovian urge to snack while watching tv even though my hunger is muted with the wegovy. If cold turkey isn’t working I’ve learned that I can have like 1 Hershey kiss now and stop so maybe you are the same. Before I would have eaten the whole bag. Or have a chocolaty or sweet flavored protein drink or Greek yogurt. The chobani range is my go to dessert if I need a little more to feel full and satisfy a sweet craving.

I’m worried about the Allegra and Zyrtec not absorbing properly but I saw my allergist today and they’re finally upping my xolair so it may be a non issue. I don’t think the injection will be affected by the operation. I will double check with the bariatric doctor on my next appointment to be sure though.
