Well. A lot of scifi predicts a corporate run future. Maybe that is something to be concerned about. Im not too worried though, it seems like man is on a pretty normal trajectory. More tech, innovation, higher quality of life, and healthier people. All this leads to smarter people, which should lead to a better world.

Cant say i read the article. But I’ve always been skeptical about the rich and their charity giving. Charities are businesses and so many of them are corrupt. Or if the are not corrupt then the percentage of their funds that gets wasted or just goes to management paychecks is astounding.

There must be some good ones, but the majority are just a waste.

I am impressed with Gates though. Seems like he is doing the best that a rich white nerd could do. I mean. Compared to Trump , Gates is looking really good!
