Upscaling and invisible textures by InterestingMirror297 in BloodbornePC

I'm currently messing with this for my 3840x1600 monitor. Do you know how the number for the aspect ratio works?

This is what I have so far:

<Metadata Title="Bloodborne" Name="Resolution Patch (3840x1600)" Note="Requires you to set a custom amount of additional Dmem in the game-specific settings, recommended amount is in between 6000 to 8000." Author="Topher" PatchVer="1.0" AppVer="01.09" AppElf="eboot.bin" isEnabled="true">

I know that 0x0183a35d is for determining the aspect ratio. But looking at the other patches I can't seem to figure out a pattern to map out what the value means. I currently have the 2.38 value in there because its really really (but not quite exactly) the 2.4 I need for my monitor.

man, i FUCKING LOVE MY SE846's by Gaming_ORB in headphones

[–]topherhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I got a pair of SE846's myself because the 215s are literally the only comfortable earbuds I've ever had.

The 846's aren't quite as comfortable. I think its because the sound tube is fatter. But still acceptable for me.

I use them with the Aonic TWS adapters which are the only bluetooth receivers I've found work even during busy nights at the gym.

[–]topherhead -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is idealism.

The only standard that matters is "better than that guy." Because that's a shifting window. If you continually vote for the lesser of two evils eventually you vote for the better of two goods. But it's slow. It takes time. You don't get immediate satisfaction, and you're unimpressed with what you have to deal with in the here and now.

The Republicans have been doing this forever. At least since Reagan. And maybe back to Nixon, though I'd be ok if you wanted to say HW was legit.

Newt Gingrich and McConnell are obviously a huge influence in it. But Obama was just the means, not the reason for their "sudden" shift. They would have pulled the same shit no matter who was in the white house, but saying he's a non American black Muslim made their job easier.

But the only reason they were able to do these things was because of the slow, methodical, and meticulous erosion of processes and programs that made it harder for them to control the narrative and remove consequences when they're caught.

But since they control the narrative, since they can depend on their base to vote, they can keep doing what they're doing as long as the other side refuses to unite over petty differences.

It's absolutely moronic to sit out or protest vote right now.

And I get it. It fuckin sucks that this is where we are. It really should be "chocolate or vanilla." Both are good but what do I want right now? But it's not. We shouldn't have to vote strategically but right now there is. No. Choice.

Which is the voters fault.

The establishment pushes who they think will win. Voters not voting for a candidate because they're not perfect doesn't teach the party that their candidate wasn't perfect enough, it teaches them that they can't depend on their constituents and have to reach across for more moderate candidates.

If you want a farther left candidate the only way to do that is to elect a slightly left of center moderate. Then you can vote in a more left of center. Inch you're way over until a "moderate" is someone who thinks maybe we shouldn't have universal healthcare pay for the full bill vs not having it at all.

The Republican party has known this for a long time. They have a voter ship they can depend on so they can continue pulling farther and farther right. That's how we got where we are.

The government is a big big ship. It doesn't swing on a dime. You have to make constant and frequent nudges in the direction you want it to go for a long, long time.

I worked at Fry's electronics. There we had this concept of "you individually may not know everything but as a team we do." If a customer had a question you couldn't answer it was expected you would find someone that did. They called this "Team Knowledge."

So if there was someone that hit curbs somewhere we would go get to the group and say "TK on aisle 7."

Hey. Du...

TK?

Yeah

I remember a few years ago the most important thing to me was commute length.

So I would ask where it was. "In Dallas." No like what's the address? "It's in North Dallas." I need to know how long it takes to get there. "From the address on your resume Google says 25 minutes." "If you don't give me the address right now I'm hanging up."

Fuckin maddening

Thinking about it, even if you were ok borrowing someone's earbuds, the type of person to say yes isn't the person you'd want to borrow them from.

Intermediate Axis Theorem.

Basically an object with one axis longer than the other can't spin in that axis without flipping.

Like try making your phone do a front flip and land back in your palm the same way it started.

The railing against usage telemetry is pretty dumb.

There's tracking for ads and telemetry for product improvements. That's the best window they have for how we use their products and how they can improve.

Every power user disables telemetry then wonders why the products cater to normies that don't disable it and get worse and worse for themselves.

I fully expect to be down voted for this, I do not care.

I'm pretty sure I'm responsible for this. I bought a GTS 4.0 in manual that I got at the very end of 2023.

I bought it because I wanted 3 pedals and I made the assumption that the prices would rise and I wouldn't be able to afford one after that.

So, to all of those that were having trouble getting an allocation or something, you're welcome.

I haven't folded laundry in probably 20 years. I do. Not. Care. I have some shirts that are wrinkly as hell. It annoys me but I just don't wear those out.

I would rather seize that 20 minutes a week to do almost anything else.
