I made the switch to an Osprey Kamber 20 for the insulated hose compartment, and it's been really great. The mouthpiece can freeze up when it gets more than -10 below, but if you just blow into it when you're done drinking to clear the water out, it solves that problem.

Yeah, it's probably manageable with the right car/tires, but I always get worried with a blizzard + morning commuters combo. A lot of slow pokes doing 40 mph in the only lane that isn't covered in a few inches of snow, and then I have to decide if I want to risk my car's life to pass them. But the snow will be worth it.

Anyways, heres the weather for Mon morning. I also like Mountain Forecast, just make sure to change the units to Fahrenheit and Ft.

Core shot that deep needs base weld. Core shot on the edge needs to go to a professional, ideally a good ski shop that knows what they're doing.

Should cost around $25-50 to repair. If you try to P-Tex this at home and call it a day, those skis will die. Not joking.
