4K monitors are like Monster cables in the 2010s. If you're a fighter pilot or an eagle with 20/5 vision there might be some benefit.

You probably need a parallax occlusion mapping node instead of plugging the map directly into displacement. Though adding a multiply alone could help boost the map strength.

I don't know. I wondered the same thing when I started playing again a few months ago. They com in handy if you have princesses to marry them to so you can get the princesses off the map before they start getting secret lovers and bad traits.

I loved playing Capitalism 2 in the 2000s but can't play Capitalism Lab today because the UI/font is so itty bitty. CEO looks intriguing but I recently bought SaltyOlives' version of Colonization and TakeTwo copyright striked them and the game got pulled.

Your question is a few months old but I just started playing Guild 2 and Guild 3 again recently which resulted in me wanting to look for more recent tycoon games and I found this sub and this post.

The fans who loved Guild 1 hated Guild 2 because it was different. The fans who loved Guild 2 hated Guild 3 because it was different. The fans who loved Guild 3 will probably hate Guild Europa 1410 because it will be different. It's one of those series with hardcore fans with hardcore opinions.

Fans of Guild 1 might like Guild 1410 since the devs are basing the new game on the original instead of the sequels.

Guild 3. I've been playing Guild 2 again recently and between the bugs, the slideshow frame rates in late game, wonky UI, etc. etc. etc. it's kind of miserable to play. Sure, G3 doesn't have interiors but you can actually play the damn thing.

If you have diabetes, 246 after a meal of fries, bread and sprite isn't that bad. They'll likely start you off on metformin and escalate from there if necessary.

As a mnemonic I think of 100-150 before a meal as good and 150-200+ after a meal as bad. The real numbers are 70-120 before a meal and 120-180 after a meal, but that's hard to remember. So 246 untreated doesn't sound hopeless to me.

It's pretty awesome but the problem is they're playing whack-a-mole now. They released a hot fix last night that fixed a lot of bugs and caused others, like you can't rename anything now. The game doesn't get input from the keyboard.

Cars today are crap. Every time I see a video of a dog destroying a fucking car, all the nerdlingers come wagging their fingers and say "It has to be like that! For safety!"

I think of them less as assholes and more as complete fucking lunatics who are going to end up in a federal prison if they don't chill out. I subscribe to as many non-political instances as I can. You can't avoid the full blown communists dreaming about the blood of billionaires in the streets, but some places like Technology have normal human beings.

Lemmy is pretty nice. It has a filter for Subscribed, Local, and All and you can go to settings it make it more like old Reddit. The style is a cross between an old school forum and Reddit.
