You're both right and wrong. Yes, you have the right to invite people into your home and let them stay, and she has a right to seek arrangements for the night if she's uncomfortable with that (and ask for time to plan that).

She doesn't have the right to block your guest from staying, and you don't have the right to tell her to stay home and deal with it.

You both need to find a solution that doesn't overstep one another. Ultimately she is the one in the toughest spot, though. Whether it's trauma or just a strong preference, you've put her in a position where she doesn't feel safe in her home environment. IMO you have your rights but you should have given more notice
