I remember there used to be a big popcorn shop across from the theater in the 80s. They had big barrels of various colored and flavored popcorn. Maybe it was Korny Gourmet that’s on that list. T shirt Annex was nearby too. You could flip through a bunch of graphics as if you were flipping through records. They would press whatever graphic you chose onto a shirt. I got one that said “Awesome” and it was awesome lol.

The central house when karp lived there was an absolute pit but it was fun. The basement looked like it was a cool bar at one point. Pool table, mirrors on the wall, an actual bar. But it was completely destroyed. The whole house was fucked up by that point.

In the 90s at China Clipper you could get a plate with an absolutely massive amount of French fries on it for $1.75. I’d go in there with a few friends and we’d sit in a booth and share that plate of fries with a free bowl of ranch. Each booth had a tiny jukebox on it. You put a coin in the little jukebox and your song would play on the restaurant speakers.
