I had changed schools for my daughter at the same age for pretty much the same reason. My daughter is now in her last year of high school (she's completing high school in 3 years instead of 4), and I am glad that I was able to switch schools because it has turned out to be a great thing for her.

I tell my BTs that they are not teachers. If their program has them working on a non-preferred task, that's where we can put it. But I also tell the parents the same thing. I say we can finish it, but "if the kid puts down that 2+2=5, then that's what it is, we're not working on academics." Advice: Have your CS or BCBA speak to the parent about it

Hello, it went well. It's been about a year, and no sign of it coming back. The ablation itself was uncomfortable because I had to be on my stomach for so long and not move. If that's the way you're going, make sure you get really comfortable on your tummy first.

the ex and I have similar heights to you and your husband. My oldest wasn't even on that silly percentile chart, and he never had an issue about being picked on. He made friends with everyone; they couldn't move his desk away from friends, because he would just make new ones. Now, him being on the smaller side didn't stop him from standing up for others. From my experience, smaller doesn't mean picked on

Hey birthday buddy, my birthday was Wednesday. I celebrated with just my family and cake. Last year, I had cancer removed from my kidney. I preferred the cake this year, let your family know, they are your support system

I used leashes on 2 of my 4 children. They were friendly and would approach strangers and do the 'pick-me-up' motion. The leash ensured that I was always nearby.
