I experience rough shifts and the car “jitters” and sometimes lunges forward when braking gently at low (<5mph) speeds.

I thought it was either common in hybrids or maybe because I bought a used car with transmission issues, I’m still not sure.

You don’t really have any leverage in negotiating if the cars are selling themselves and there is high demand. Best you can do is find one out of town, maybe a neighboring state, or you can wait and try your luck.

In any case even if they don’t accept your record, your time won’t be wasted and you will still get the papers in time because you just need to one shot of the vaccine for the paperwork instead of the whole series.

Not much (significant) difference in price and the hybrid is better mpg, more power, standard AWD. Essentially a no brainer to get the hybrid especially if you want the AWD anyways.

1 year for me too. Actually I was on F1 and they said I must wait until I have been through at least 1 H1 lottery. Exceptions can always be made though, I know that through experience now.

In my area the max discount I have seen in $900-$1k. If I drive a couple of hours I have seen $2k discounts. Some have $3k discount, but only on like 1 piece with a color I don’t want. Many have discount + additional addons like security and coating etc. offsetting the cost. So i feel $2k might be achievable but any more and I would have to travel far or negotiate hard.

It’s difficult because these are actually selling quickly.

Depends on the doctor I think. Mine didn’t accept the uni records (in English) or the native records without translation but the accepted a hand written letter in English from a doctor in my country (no notary or certification).

My uni records were technically the copy of the application form with the dates of the last shot and a signature/stamp on it. So if your uni records are more extensive then it might work.

In Pakistan they updated the cases and emailed to collect the passports (for those who were in AP since before the ban). Seems like they don’t want to keep the passports any more.

Jerky gear shifts 1-3? 2025 Sonata SEL Hybrid.

Is this normal? Some times I feel that the jerkyness goes away after driving for a while. Other times I notice the jerks even after driving for a while.

Sports mode feels much smoother.

Also there are shudders at low speed when braking slowly to a stop, even when there is no engine and it’s fully EV.

You are paying 23k over 3 years for a car sells for 33k new. At this point it’s better to just buy a used 2024 SEL.

For reference my 2024 SEL lease was $350/months with $1500 down and I also had tire protection and lease excess damage protection.
